Prediction

- 100
- 106

Should be another productive game offensively for both teams and as well our first look at rookie sensation Kevin Durant. Unfortunately I see us losing yet another close one to a team we should beat.

Predict and discuss!

You think we're going to lose to the Sonics????

If we lose tonight we dont deserve to make the playoffs. They're turrible.

Yup .... inconsistancies hurt this team and after losing a game we should of won in Portland I just have one of those bad gut feelings today. One that we're going to take a young team like Seattle too lightly. Thomas and Wilcox are a decent front court, so if Rasho, Bosh and Humps can stay out of foul trouble than we should be OK. Seattle has much better depth at PG than us, so if they can wear down Jose than we're in trouble of we have to depend on Martin again.

I'm a bit more hopeful.

Given the recent comments by Bosh to the media, i think the Raptors will come out with intensity. The key for me will be how they perform in the 2nd half.

I'm pretty confident parker/moon will be able to keep Durant in check. Hump/Rasho/Bosh should be able to handle Seattle's front court too.

One thing's for sure, with the next few games in mind, this one is must-win territory.

Expect Bargnani to still struggle

Moon will blanket durant.
the kid's FG% is atrocious... Moon will make it worse.

my only fear is wilcox.

but this should be an easy win for us.
their PG's cannot keep up with jose.

But considering the minutes Jose's been logging in TJ's absence, he's bound to hit the wall sooner than later. Jose is definitely better than both Earl and Luke, but their no slouches either. Their PG depth right now is a better situation than ours unfortunately.

Watson and Ridnour have been known to have really long stretches where they perform a masterbatory dribble and then float airballs while cutting across the lane. I agree, they have the edge in depth, but we have the edge in skill. I think they should play Delfino at the point exclusively and have Juan in as an off-guard to check either ridnour or watson. That's what I would do if I was the coach. but im not.
All that said, I'm expecting a win. After the Swirsk came clean about his homerism I decided to lift the curse. Oh, and I'll be stoking another fire, my second of the day, for the game tonight, like the other night in Portland. Ill just have to keep it going through the fourth. I forgot about it and we all know what happened in the fourth in Portland. heh.

You don't want to know Belsius ..... I knew Seattle were going to be a handful but this is a disappointing effort. Someone in a wheelchair (no offense to anyone in a wheelchair by the way) could even penetrate our interior defense. Bosh, Humps and the ever useless Bargnani couldn't play any interior defense if their life depended on it.

Despite losing to Seattle, kudos to Jose for his performance tonight. Fackin' amazing with 15 points, 16 assists and only 1 turnover.

Yup, and the next two games are given losses too with Phoenix and San Antonio. Back to .500 in no time.

Maybe (and this is me having a faint glimmer of hope at 1:41 in the morning, which could just be fatigue setting in), just maybe, the Raptors will use this embarrassing loss as a point of motivation for the rest of the road trip. Either that or there will be some ass kicking going on and the Raps will be on the wrong end of it.
