Holy shit ... what an ending. We played an amazing 2nd half, but we gave the Celts too many second chances. Get and damn rebounder BC.
![]() Anyhow, enough criticism ..... Jose is the man. 'Nuff said .... he took Rondo to school at the end of the game. :2gunsfiring: |

Great win.
But really, we won because of two anomalies. One, Andrea Bargnani had an outstanding game. Two, we flooded the rim from 3 point range. However, in games like this against the best team in the league, you have to pull out everything you got and the Raptors did just that. Fantastic effort by everyone. |

I can't believe we turned the ball over so much and so carelessly and still won. I mean Parker on the steal and then loses the ball out of bounds without a Celts player within ten feet. WTF?
Not to mention everyone trying to throw those insane passes into traffic. |

The 3 point percentage was very fluky. With that said, Bosh played great, but more importantly Calderon and Bargnani stepped it up big time.
Calderon won us the game with his clutch play, and you can't argue with 8-10 from the field, 24 points, 13 dimes, 3 steals. Remember that steal/clear path foul on Calderon? It got us 4 points. Most impressive was Bargnani; he got a 20/7/7 (career high in assists) and didn't even look like he was really trying. His assists were beautiful; he plays so well with Calderon out there because Jose keeps the ball moving and so does Andrea. And he finally knocked down some shots. Bargnani shot 50%. He's only done that twice this month other than this game and one of them was 2-2... Good sign. Last edited by BballWatcher; 01-23-2008 at 10:37 PM. |

Whoo-hoo!! Whatta game!
You gotta love it.Love the new smilies too ![]() The game was exciting to watch. I was really impressed by Bargnani today, can't remember the last time that happend. Jose played smart, right to the end. Its frustrating to give Boston all the extra shots - we need help on those boards. But overall, it was an excellent team effort. |

Did anyone see Mitchell after the game? It was something like this.
Reporter - Are you happy about the win? Smitch - Are you serious? You actually want me to answer that? We just beat the team with the best record in the league, that's the best defensive team in the league in their building and you need me to answer that quiestion? Reporter - Yes. Smitch - Okay then. Yes, I'm happy! |

![]() Without the threes, like without at least one of Ford/Jose on the floor for the majority of minutes, this team shouldn't bother to take the floor against any good NBA opponent. |

You can say without the 3's, but the only way the 3's are created is with Jose FINALLY driving the ball 2+ feet past the pick for the first time in 10 games and getting in the paint ALL game and wreaking havoc out there. The 4 day layoff was HUGE for him tonight. Just shows how much we need both PG's in our lineup to be at our peak. Energetic Jose= top 10 PG easy.
