Prediction

Good test to measure Bargs defense tonight assuming that he's going to get alot of play covering Duncan. Also, nice match-up of back-up PG's with Ford and "Mighty Mouse". Should be an interesting affair in which I'm praying for a Raptors win.

Predict and discuss!

Spurs are going to out-play, out-hustle and out-class the Raps tonight.

Spurs - 102
Raps - 84

It should be close as long as we dont go on one of those stupid 5 minute droughts.

I think TJ's gonna have to score over 10 points for us to have a chance. SA isnt gonna let him get 13 assists and easy shots for teammates like MIN and MIA did(and LAC did too but we couldnt make a dunk or 3 when he was dishing in the 3rd/4th).

We better be quick on our rotations out of the double teams or theyre gonna pick us apart. Boston was excellent vs them yesterday with rotations but I dont trust our team nearly as much lol.

If Bargs continues to play well we have a chance. Ever since Bargs has elevated his game we are such a better team.If our starting five keep us close I think our second unit will tear apart the spurs second unit.

Yeah, Bargs will HAVE TO knock down his shots on the perimeter, especially if Duncan is guarding him, which he should be for the first half anyway. Good point.

In SA the Bargs/humps frontcourt was also very effective in the 4th if I remember right.

Doug Smith just said on the FAN that Sam won't be coaching tonight. His father in-law died of cancer and he's headed back to be with his family until after the break. Evans gets to coach tonight, and Triano on Wednesday, since they are the guys who did the scouting for the teams in question.

That was a very frustrating game. No one except for Calderon could hit the broad side of a barn today. Performances from Bosh like today's just aren't going to get it done.

However, Rasho's defense on Duncan was superb.

Oh yeah and every great hustle play, nice drive and pass Delfino made was negated by his terrible shot selection.

I only got to watch the 4th, but I have to comment and say that I did like Delfino's slashing to the basket in the 4th. Wish he did that more. Was he chucking it in the first 3 quarters?
