Like the Magic announcer just said- "Jose Calderon is having a John Stockton/Steve Nash type of night"

Since they don't watch Raps often they don't know this is a normal night for Jose...

Jose is shooting over 70% from the field in the last 11 games...

ya... really enjoyed watching Delfino run the point for a bit.

You've got to hand it to Jose. Right now, he is the best shooter on the team. If i saw correctly, he missed ONE shot today. wow.

Bosh coming up huge against Dwight. He's done it a bunch of times now... The one thing i LOVED about CB today was how he got a lot of hustle points - second chance type stuff. He was fantastic at attacking the rim, used his jumper just the right amount of times.

and props to Delfino and Moon too.

BIG TIME WIN right there, fellas.

lol Jose is my fav raptors, i said that when i joined the forum on my 1st post. You getting the wrong idea that i think all euro's can play, i know alot of them can, but i havent seen one that is truely the heart and soul of a bigtime team. Jose is awesome and i hope we lock him down longterm, but are you trying to say he is tough? Or not completely overmatched against physical PGs like Billups? He is what he is, perhaps a future Nash, i just hope he can play better D then Nash (and im canadian but i think Nash is so overrated its unbelieveable, due to his lack of toughness and D, the same thing i rag on euro's for).

ben... Bargs is Euro.... looked it 2night... you may want to write that down in between him taking outside shots getting discouraged, not posting up and no way in hell able to guard Howard :P

Anyways lets stop our bickering in threads that are different topics now plz im guilty of doing it aswell and ill make a consorted effort to stop, lets be happy the team we both follow had a strong performance 2night cheers

WOW .... arse kickin'!

You can tell the Magic were tired from the night before, but still no excuse because the NBA baby. But man alive, that possibly could of been one of Bosh's best games. Howard couldn't stop him and didn't show Bosh any respect with his jumper.

Anyhow, its games like last night that frustrate me as a Raptors fan because why can't they attack and play that aggressive night in, night out? Everytime we do we're usually successful, but for some reason we typically follow the next game with the opposite effort.

Because the Raps are virtually unstoppable when their shots are falling. When they aren't well...lol

I loved later on Rick Kamala calling out Dwight for stealing Shaq'a Superman persona.

maybe he was right... maybe CB is one of the tougest players to match up against.

you stay tight on him; odds are if he doesnt blow by you, he'll draw the foul.
you give him space and he'll hit a jumper in your face...

CB is getting a ton of calls and respect from the refs... and this is making his game so much more dangerous.
van gundy had to take D12 off him because he'd foul out.

Note from the game last night that camera's wouldn't have picked up:

- New found respect for Adonal Foyle. During halftime warmups, he would pass the ball to the kids sitting in the crowd. The kids would pass it back and he would do a turnaround jumper. Pretty nice to see.
- Jamario and D. Howard was chatting it up during halftime. Looks like Jamario was showing D.H. what he was planning to do if he had gone into the finals.
- Jamario received the Rookie of the Month hardware during halftime. He was playing it up looking at D.H. and polishing the trophy. He then did a super man motion to D12. D12 laughed.
- D12 is a clown. He passed the ball to CB4's gf during halftime to ask her to shoot. She refused.
- Stan Van Gundy looked like Ron Jeremy. With the tan he had, no comment.
- Van Gundy was yelling at his players quite often. Dooling had it worst and at one point turned his back to his coach while SVG was still yelling at him. (3rd quarter)

haha ... thanks for the observations beach.

SVG looked like he stole that suit from Don Johnson too. It was very Miami Vice!

Bosh is only dangerous when his J is on. That's what differentiates a finess player like CB4 from a power player like Howard - when the shot is not working for Bosh, smart defenders lay off him a bit, take a drive away and he is becoming quite ineffective. Sheed comes to mind here, BTW.

Beasts like Howard are pretty much unstoppable at all times unless they are faced with a bigger beast (ain't gonna happen to Howard) or they are constantly double-teamed. He doesn't rely on jumpers to get his game off - he pushes people around, establishes position in the post, makes 1.5 dribbles and dunks that bitch or drops a short jump-hook.
Reminds you of any diesel?

I was at the game last night. My brother was at a banquet for a hockey club that was having a silent auction. While the Leaf tickets were going for double face value, he picked up a pair of Raptor tix for $125. Face for the pair was $440!!! Stooopid puck-heads. Good on my brother for thinking of me and taking me for my birthday.

I saw the Magic in Orlando last month, and the one thing that stuck out is they all get along and they are all big jokers. Especially D12. My guess is Stan van Jeremy does all he can to keep their focus.

And as we all know, when the Raps shots are falling, they are deadly.

Here's hoping for back-to-back creamings of the Knicks.

PS. I was the guy in the red shirt that said "Uno Dos Tres" and has his fingers in the THREE shape. I got some major time on the jumbo-tron!

Oh there was a SWAN sign. It was held up by a chick. Would've never thought a chick would want to hold up a SWAN sign. Hahaha.
