As long as we win. If we're winning, and the team chemistry is good, I'm happy for now.

I think the +/- should be calculated on a per minute basis. If you think about it, this should be the ultimate tool to measure a player's performance within a team. I think it's basically useless as a inter-team stats tool, but within the team, this kind of encompasses all the aspects of a game. The players with the best +/- per minute should be considered the MVP of the team, because basically while he's on the field, the team is performing at its peak. And that's regardless of the rest of the stats, it could be that the best player on a team is a very good defensive player like bowen, who doesn't do much else. Or it could be a very profilic scorer like arenas, who has a shitty FG% and plays lousy defense.

If this was any team but the Knicks (or maybe the Heat), we would've let them back in this 4th. Awful quarter.

Overall it was a piss poor game I am lucky that I did not go down to ACC and waste my money on that shitty game. Any other team we probably lose the game.

You guys are going to give yourselves a coronary because you focus ALL your criticism towards T.J.. It's quite amusing now.

Anyhow, offensively I liked the ball movement and the constant looks and touches in the post. Rasho, Andrea and Chris all played great in our frontcourt. Defensively, we were lackadaisical but its hard to get up and motivated for teams like New York. So, I'll cut them some slack today.

A win nevertheless and back in the 6th spot for the moment.

Let's not fool ourself, the way we play today any team above .500 would've beating us by not less of 20 points, in the offense event we were throwing bricks one after another in the critical moments where we were just about to go for a run. As I posted earlier the way NY play is contagious, we still don't have that maturity level where we can dictate our game without absorbing the game of a team that is coachless, yes we won but still too much confusion on the floor something is missing in the chemistry.

TJ played a near perfect game tonight and has put together 2 very good pure pg type games.

I told you guys we'd go on a streak once we hit the beautiful stretch of our schedule. If we beat New Orleans we may run the table, if not, after NO we may run the table, heh.

We need Washington to run the table as well to stay infront of us. PLZNO5THSEEDGODKTHXBYE

Well we are on alittle streak 2 games in a row. Looks like moving Jose and Bargs to the second unit is working. TJ has not hurt us yet as a starter, he has held his own, alittle bit of a drop off from having Jose as a starter but not so bad. Jose has been able to over come what TJ has served him by igniting the second unit. Jose seems to make the players around him better compared to TJ. In our last 2 games (wins) Jose was a + 10 and +9 for a total of +19, TJ was a - 3 and a +1 for a total of -2. No matter what role you put Jose in he seems to play well, however it seems that TJ requires the better players around him to play better. In conclusion the key for the duo to work really comes down to Mitch and his substitution pattern. Mitch must rule with a iron hand when assigning minutes with his point guards. He can't be concerned about pissing off TJ with reduction of minutes. We all know that Jose is good but sometimes he walks on the court with our team so far behind that we just don't have enough time to get back into games.Jose was our spark off the bench last year and he will be once again. We should continue to bring Jose out with the second unit, he just makes everyone that much better and let TJ start because hes a big suck and he needs the better players to help his game. We won't have to worry about this next year, all this catering to the suck TJ will be gone when the Raptors unload the attitude to another team. The Bucks unloaded TJ for a reason and it looks the Raptors will unload him for the same reason I just hope there is a team willing to take him.Players, fans, media and the world saw how the cry baby got his starting job back, he was not deserving but everyone is biting the bullet for the team. This controls the cancer for the time being we all should hope that the cancer does not spread. Putting TJ back in the starters role is like TJ getting radiation treatment to control the cancer, however,I am not convinced that the cancer will be completly eliminated until we ship his ass out of town.

we had 2 bad games against a team who was dead tired and a team who needed overtime 2 days ago to beat Miami. We won both of them, and now suddenly optimism is everywhere ... TJ sucked in both these games, he is trying to play like Jos enow, in control, which basically denies the only advantage he has over Jose. Defensively, Sma had to pull him off Billups after 4 minutes in the first quarter, and on Crawford tonight he was equally bad, especially in the first half.

We'll see the true face of this "new" team tomorrow, against a very motivated NOK team (even though they will be tired after a long road trip). I'm looking forward on TJ's defense on Chris Paul, and how will he handle it if Paul starts to dominate (pretty good chance of that happening). It will be interesting ....

Its not the opposing PG's spot to be guarding CP3, its whoever is guarding the big who is setting the screen+the corner guys near the ball. You probably will never see CP3 trying to beat either of our pgs off the dribble all game. Hes gonna slice and dice with the dribble until theres an advantage where the defence sags off a guy or just doesnt get close enough on him and thus the open shot. We gotta be really quick on rotations tomorrow or we're fucked.

I don't care about the TJ saga today. I only saw highlights.

That cross over TJ put on Jefferies was nothing short of hilarious.

I laughed, so did the Knicks bench.

funny, you used to blame Jose for this exact same thing, now you're basically saying what SJ kept saying.

Regarding the TJ's thing, not sure how you can play so good, and have a negative +/- in both games, even though you won. Maybe I'm pointing the obvious here, but a negative +/- means that while you are on the floor, the team loses points, i.e the team is playing worse. It doesn't say why, could be offense, defense, turnovers etc, but the one thing it does say is that the team is not performing well. +/- is not PER or some other weird stat - and look at any team in the league, you will see that usually it's the best player on that team has the highest +/-.

I wouldn't bring the +/- in this discussion, but obviously we watched the same game and have very different opinions on TJ's play. Since we both are subjective in this thing, I thought an objective, cold stat could settle this thing.
