Prediction

http://www.ebsports.net/bbs/sficons/...raptors_sm.gif - 92
http://www.ezekielbearsports.com/bbs/nba/nets.gif - 109

I don't like our chances against the Nets. Considering we haven't had defensive answers for guys like Manu and Maggette as of late, how do you think we're gonna stop both RJ and VC? :(

Nets in a blowout. :2gunsfiring:

Predict and discuss!

BballWatcher 02-12-2008 10:48 AM

Who do the Nets have to stop either Bosh or Bargnani?

Dr. J. Naismith 02-12-2008 10:49 AM

Boone and Sean Williams. Don't laugh either because both have been a big surprise this season. Just you wait and see bball. ;)

Ball Don't Lie 02-12-2008 12:37 PM

Sean Williams is gonna own Bosh if Boone doesnt first.

Oh yeah, and we better fucking win.

Raps 95 Nets 90

JattDogg 02-12-2008 01:40 PM

Nj always seems to play us well......

i say we win big though... 110-95

BballWatcher 02-12-2008 03:53 PM

We should start Joey Graham for this one to cover Vince.

Ball Don't Lie 02-12-2008 10:51 PM

We should put Darrick Martin on VC and tell Martin to joke with VC all game.

Torontosaurus 02-12-2008 11:05 PM

We win, we lose, we win, we lose...

and now its time to win again! :D

Torontosaurus 02-12-2008 11:07 PM

Century mark, baby!! :music-smiley-018:

maltmonger 02-12-2008 11:41 PM

I have a bad feeling about this one.

However, the overriding homer force in me will not allow me to pick the Raps to lose to Vince at home:

Raps 107
Nets 103

fancylad 02-13-2008 07:35 AM

We've been shitty at home for the last few games and are on a depressing little home losing streak.

It MUST end tonight.

Although it does look like NJ has picked it up of late (winning three straight), i've got to think the pressure on the raptors to get back in the win column should be the difference maker.

I'd like Jose to keep seeing himself as one of the primary scoring options... and i really hope TJ wrist will be good to go.

Acie 02-13-2008 08:24 AM

Triano for Coach of the Year.

This ones going to be a Raps blow-out.

Dr. J. Naismith 02-13-2008 09:49 AM

Hope you enjoy those seats tonight LX. ;)

Anyhow, Yahoo Preview available for those who care and hopefully if Jay has time he'll have his preview available soon. :)

Dr. J. Naismith 02-13-2008 02:01 PM

Ford out, Martin in.

If anything considering more Raptors will be off for the next week because of the break, Jose might get a ton of burn so we don't have to suffer with either Darrick or Juan running the show. :(

'trane 02-13-2008 02:04 PM

I truly hope this Kidd trade goes down today. Would be nice not to have to face him.

Got seats in sec 109, row 3.

woot!

Nice, say "hi" to LX because I believe he has some pretty good seats based on what he said a couple weeks ago. :)

'trane 02-13-2008 02:06 PM

I'll be the 6'7" guy standing up yelling "Hey LX, eat shit pal!" over and over and over again all game long. You can't miss me.

:stickpoke:

Nice ... congrats milk and try not to be too vocal towards Bosh tonight. ;)

INSIDER 02-13-2008 03:22 PM

fancylad 02-13-2008 03:22 PM

We said that on Friday night too against the Clips. Considering the way we've played this season against sub-par teams this game is far from being a gimme.
:(

:(

true, but with VC at the point, it's kinda like a game of rock-paper-scissors where the Nets can only play paper.

we really should win.

Clippers are deeper without Cassell and Brand than New Jersey without Kidd too.

Dr. J. Naismith 02-13-2008 04:28 PM

Kidd's agent has confirmed the deal, so with that being said he ain't playing tonight.

LOL..I was just gonna ball you out for not changing the game thread....but you did...So i will now walk back in shame.

Krazy Ivan 02-13-2008 05:55 PM

This is the game that Raps must own the Nets... with Kidd gone to Dallas it's time to lay some beating on VC... :grrr:

Acie 02-13-2008 07:28 PM

I hope Moon's wrist is okay. I was wondering why COY candidate Jay Triano put Delfino in so early.

Acie 02-13-2008 07:39 PM

Carlos you had Bargs posting up 5'8 Darrell Armstrong, please throw him the ball instead of shooting a 28 foot contested three.

Krazy Ivan 02-13-2008 08:12 PM

Somewhere in Washington Gilbert Arenas is eating his words right now... :D

Jose is playing out of his mind... :bonk:

fancylad 02-13-2008 08:14 PM

now THAT's what i'm talkin' about.

Great first half. Calderon being Calderon.

Bosh playing well. a little too much from outside, but his shot looks really good.

Bargnani playing well too. defensively and offensively.

Good stuff. more of that in the second half would be nice.

Acie 02-13-2008 08:17 PM

I wish the fans would stop booing VC. If they're trying to get under his skin I think being indifferent with him would be more effective. Oh well, at least now he knows what it feels like when your best player quits on the team and demands to be traded and is eventually moved.

At this point it makes no difference...VC is a shadow of himself...

Belsius 02-13-2008 08:33 PM

Calde is shooting 8 for 10

Dr. J. Naismith 02-13-2008 09:21 PM

WOW ... what a game. Calderon is simply amazing. :clapping:

BTW, did anyone hear Chuck say that Ray Allen is replacing Caron in the All-Star game? :(

Acie 02-13-2008 09:29 PM

Jose was fucking brilliant.

Did VC fuck Leo\'s wife? He takes any and every opportunity to rip him a new one.
