To touch on a point in another thread, Bargnani looked great going to the hoop. Didn't seem out of control at all.

nice little bounce-back game for him.

I thought so too, but he'll never be a player that looks good carrying his weight. One of the things that really amazes you when you actually see basketball players in real life is how graceful they are at their ridiculous heights. Andrea driving to the hoops sometimes reminds me of how Hulk Hogan used to come off the ropes before he did his patented leg drop.

However, can't complain about how Andrea is coming along.

if he can put a few games in a row 2gether, esp considering the calibre of weak teams we are playing, i think it would prove alot more. That being said he had a nice little game 2night, nothing fabulous but he played well, props to him.

As a wrestling fan, I enjoyed your analogy. Quite apropos.

Games from the notes which might or might not have made the TV:

The half time show had kids playing ball again. It was highly entertaining with a couple 3’s drained, no look passes and killer crossovers. It brought a lot of cheers from the crowd.
Andrea is getting very active on the boards. This might not show up on TV but he’s getting closer to the rim these days.
Kapono was in Brezec’s face during his free throws for Pizza. No doubt, it was to tell him about the 100 points.
The pizza thing makes me laugh everytime. The loudest cheer in the game came when they hit the century mark with only 1/2 the crowd left.
Delfino and Kapono at the end got into a little conversation about who should be where on a play. It’s great to see that they’re up by 20 and they’re still thinking of making plays and getting better.
Hump really is the “Grand Opening and Grand Closing”. In his drive to the basket at the end of the game, Kapono was standing wide open to his right yet Hump decides not to kick out. There wasn’t anybody within 8 feet of Kapono.
Right before Joey made the huge dunk, I told the guy sitting beside me that Joey is going to have a sick dunk literally 30 seconds before he put it down. In terms of in game dunks, Joey’s dunks bring the crowd off their feet more than Moon’s. They’re just nasty.
Minnesota reminds me of New York Knicks except they’re not well known players. They complain about every call against them and even when they score, they’ll complain. Al Jefferson will be a great player but at this point, he reminds me of Zach Randolph from a few years back. I just hope he has better attitude and drive.
Mop Girl was not there today.
Bargnani was again yapping a couple times with the Minnesota players. I’m not a huge fan of trash talking but it good to see Andrea come out of his shell.

On another note, 20+ point win again. Next game, they’ll win by 10-15 I think against the Pacers.

Jefferson was getting away with Murder. I counted 4 Offensive fouls dipping the shoulder and bashing through doubles or his guy.

It was ridiculous.

I thought that too. He looked like Jerome Bettis going to the hole.

Definitely. Jefferson is a proven commodity. He practically guarantees a team 28-33 wins, at minimum!

One positive thing I've noticed with Bargnani over the last couple months, is no more travels! I used to wanna kill him every time he did that.

Don't discard the value of 28 wins - with a little luck (and Bryan has plenty ...) it might get you the next Greg Oden
