Sure, no one can stop them, that's why Kobe is shooting 45% season after season ...

And I'm not upset about the fadeways, it's those 20 free dunks that bother me ...

I didnt like the fact that he put Dixon on Bryan (poor dixon), but anyway he was unstopable today, In the last minutes when Parker was on him, he just didnt know what to do. If we defended the perimenter he just score by himself, if we double teammed him he just passed and they scored.
Not liked what Sam did today but I dont think there was a lot of things he could do.

He was completely intimated by Turiaf. He hesitated, he was indecisive, he forced up a lot of awful shots...same thing he does against Wallace and any other smart, physical defender.

I don't know what's worse then, I mean if Bosh is scared of Ronny Turiaf ...

While I agree the help defense was deplorable and Parker looked slower than a turtle out there, you're talking about arguably the best player in the game here. Not some flash in the pan hack.

And I would have no problem if Kobe scores 35 points on 48% shooting, I would even accept the fact that once in a while he goes for 50, but against us, they always burn us.
And Parker, Peterson, Delfino are not lousy defenders - they might not be in bruce bowen league, but they're decent. Even Brandon Roy killed us in both games.

It's true that Bosh is a pathetic shot blocker for his size/speed, but even so - there's got to be a way to limit these players.

I think the problem was the helping defense in the second half. Calderon help pretty well in some plays in the first half, but in the first they werent scoring from the 3 well.

I actually liked when he tried dixon, I'd rather have bryant shooting over him, or posting him, than blowing past everybody for those damn dunks. And it's those dunks that killed us, because they got energized by them.

I was pissed that after it was a foregone conclusion that the Lakers were going to win, they let them run up the score and have two or three easy baskets.

Kobe loves playing in Toronto. Loves it. What was up with all of his staredowns and shouts around the Raptors bench and along the courtside seats? Seemed a little much, even for Kobe.

Easy baskets, no toughness, it's a broken record. We all know Kobe is a star, but he shouldn't be putting one crossover down and having the sea part for him. To take a line from Romeo Crennell (again), "CROWN HIS ASS".

Kobe was just being Kobe last night. He was incredible however it seems our team just makes great players look like all world. I actually thought that I was watching the NBA all star dunk competition with Kobe being the only player entered in the competition. Kobe was fearless and at times very cocky with those stare downs after his thunderous flushes. I know it was all about the show for him but wow does anyone on this team have any balls. You can talk all you want about playing better d or doing better on the glass, cutting down turn overs or even shot selections. What this team is missing is a tough hard ass big man that can put fear into players making them think twice about putting on a dunk fest on our home court. Kobe was just showing us up I wanted to jump into my tv screen and kick his ass and some of our guys for being soft. Our guys were playing with skirts on last nite they just enjoyed Kobe doing them one by one. Hell I actually believed our guys enjoyed it, there was no sence of urgency or pride to knock him on his ass. . OUR GUYS WERE JUST SPECTATORS LAST NIGHT WATCHING THE KOBE SHOW ......WHERE CAN WE FIND A OAKLEY CLONE WITH SOME BALLS.

What are you supposed to do when a guy's hitting fadeway threes, while falling out of bounds, with a defender draped all over him?
You really have to make it looks like an accident:dark:

Actually Bargnani gave him a decent push - problem is, I don't think intimidation works again Kobe. Might work against Lebron, but players like Kobe or Iverson - you've got to find other ways of doing it. And nobody in the world can stop Kobe one on one, what you need is a smart team defense - and that's where Mitchell failed miserably.
