Actually, they said that TJ and Juan were telling the trash-talkers near/on the Raptors bench to stop it, cause it was firing James up so much.

I hate watching games like todays. I'm having a few beer and the first 3 quarters are awesome - then all of a sudden we're behind, I'm outta beer, and pissed off!

Bargnani needs to put some muscle on his frame and start competing for rebounds.

The Raps didn't rebound or shoot FT's well. And Cleveland really turned up their defensive intensity in the 4th. You had to have known that if the Cavs were in sniffing distance come the 4th quarter Lebron was going to take over.

Sorry, but Bargs lack of defensive intensity earned him a spot on the bench.

Yes and no Rory. The muscle would help when he's fighting for position, but the fact that he has no intensity on defense is inexusable. He's too passive and lets opposing walk all over him.

Where Charles Oakly when you need him to teach some players some tough love.

Alright after watching this game... IM EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED.
- Bosh should make his fucking shots and answer back when lebron scores (2 be a true leader).
- Bargnani ughhh, just fukin spend this summer with dennis rodman.
-Parker played awesome 1st half, BUT U HAVE TO MAKE UR SHOTS IN PRESSURE SITUATIONS.
- Moon was great and did everything he could 2 stop L.J
-Calderon had a good game.
- The Bench wasss HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! andd i dont here any1 saying: DEPTH!! anymore.

Personallyy i loveee the fact ford trash talkedddd, nice to see sum1 vocal on the teamm..
hes the most aggresive player on the team and when it mattters he'll take over.

- be prepared to see a sweet rivalry next game... if Ford plays... it wont finish 93-90 L.
it sounds like im bigging up fordd but hes the only one who plays when it countss, like in the playoffs he LED OUR TEAM IN SCORING.

After seeing 2days game, many may disagree with me.
But i believeee..............

THE TORONTO Raptors WILL NOT PASS THE 1ST ROUND IN THE PLAYOFFS.

.
Unless Bargnani gains 20 pounds of muscle and plays like shaq.
ahaha
well
whatever...
ill just keep believing
but Reaally upset after this loss.

This game was a mirror of my last week post new year: a bad fuckin' hangover! I've been home sick with the flu all week and now have a killer headache. We had this game by the balls in the first half. I stopped watching until the 4th, when I saw we were trying desparately to give them the game. We succeeded.

The raps need to understand that Bargs can't and will never be able to play the 'C'. He just doesnt have it. He is a PF type player and thats all he will ever be.

Either let him play PF or trade him because you just wont be able to put him at 'C'.

Bosh and Bargs will only work when Bosh is playing C and Bargs PF. Wake up Sam/BC.

Cava have got to have the most ugliest set of players I have ever seen. Bron, d. jones, brown, gooden are damn ugly, there are more but i just dont know their names.

Anyways Bosh does not look like he wants to play here anymore, trade his ass BC.

A little snippet from a conversation my wife and I had yesterday.

Wife -"Where are you?"
Me -"At Canadian Tire."
Wife - "I thought you were watching the Raptors game?"
Me - "I was."
Wife - "What happened?"
Me - "They're up something like 20, but I have a bad feeling they're going to blow it and in my current state (kind of sick), I don't want to depress myself."
Wife - "Oh, okay. Can you get me some washer fluid?"

Anyway, I listened to the end on the radio, so I will rely on you guys to tell me...were the Raptors double-teaming LeBron down the stretch? Trash-talk motivation or not, you can't just let him get hot and not put some extra pressure on him. Your double team might not stop him (we've seen him work through those millions of times), but you should at least be trying to make him get other players involved. Sam can't expect Moon to shut LeBron down for a whole game.

I'll try to get back on the pre and post-game posts, just been a little under the weather.

no double teams man. nothing. played him straight up. it reminded me of when dirk went off against us in dallas earlier this year. sam was all deer in the headlights when they showed his face while it was happening. the couple of times we did double jones and gibson made shots. but for the most part it was james blowing past parker, and jumping through and over moon.

I also agree with Raptors123 on this one. Obviously Bargs wasn't having the best game.... he shot 2-9 from the field....but the team was leading by double digits at the time.....i'm a firm believer in "if it aint broke dont fix it." Bargnani needs to be on the floor in the second half. He's still a big body that can hit jump shots and change shots because of his height. I'm not saying that it would change anything (win or loss). But we still LOST the game. So what was the point? Joey Graham saw minutes in the second half....I'm sorry but i think Sam has to take some of the blame on this one.

He has to be a bit more consistent with the minutes. Bargs had a tough first half....but he wasn't even really given a chance to play better.

Bargs actually had the flu. Maybe Sam should've administered him some of his special instant-flu-curing serum. lol

Problem number one, we need another jumper shooter like Mo Pete needs another case of the herpes. We need our big men playing in the post, not outside the arc like Bargnani does 9 time out of 10. You constantly see Sam bitching at Andrea to get down low and in the post, but the guy still finds himself at the top of the arc all the fuckin' time.

Come on, Jose alters more shots than Andrea does. He's a big pylon who stands with his hands straight up in the air. You alter shot by getting a hand in the guy's face, not by setting up your own impression of "field goals posts" in turn giving the opposing player a clear view of the hoop.

To a degree I support that view, because Sam should of called for more double teams on LeBron, but again our players have to be held accountable too. I mean Parker played fantastic for 3 quarters, but had great opportunities in the 4th only to miss wide open jumpers. What he should of done instead was take to hard to the hoop. He had a clear path on a couple occasions to drive to the hoop and even draw some fouls, but settled for this team's "bread & butter" the 3 pointer.
