J Dogg it must be crazy getting out of TO tonight sell outs at both games. I think we have something special with this years baseball team.

I wonder if Matt Stairs can play basketball lol I am sure he has the balls to play this game, hell he can bring his hockey stick with him.

Someone should bring that sign to the ACC next game, "Can the Raptors sign Matt Stairs?" ... it would be awesome

Chuck or Jack reminded us at the end of this game that we are 6-14 in our last 20. Nice way to make the playoffs... Unless we change something major or kidnap Dirk and perform Face/Off surgery with Andrea, we are going to get our asses handed to us, no matter who we play in the first round. If the season ended today I'd predict we'd take 1 game in the post season, tops.

We have only beaten 3 quality teams in the last 3 months: Detroit (their 3rd game in 4 nights), Orlando (February), and Boston (January). And New Orleans, who we beat the previous 3 times, has finally figured us out. They toyed with us in the game last week.

No chance of winning any playoff games if the Raps play like they did tonight. No chance,

Well as everyone knows we are playing terrible basketball at the moment. Maybe we should try another change. Maybe we should change the starting line up again. Maybe TJ will go to the coaching staff and ask to go back to the bench lol. Not a fat chance of that happening.

Although TJ has played well both point guards are not the problem. Bosh for some reason is not playing like he did with Jose running the point. The team is missing something. We are a better team with Jose running the point, at this point you can't blame TJ on todays loss.

Again with TJ and post game interview, " Toronto cut Charlotte's lead to one with 1:15 left, but Boykins' steal on Ford and fast-break layup and free throw gave the Bobcats a 101-97 lead with 41 seconds remaining.

"T.J. relaxed and I went for it," Boykins said.

Ford said the turnover wasn't the reason they lost.

"I don't think that one play dictates the whole game. We just got to do a better job in the fourth quarter," Ford said.

TJ you like to use the word dictates, so be a man about it for crying out loud. You blew that last play at least make it sound that you are pissed about your turnover and take alittle bit of responsibility for taking us out of the game with that dictated lol play. Don't be a dic head TJ you say you blew it with that turnover, your team will or should come to back you up and comfort you by telling you it was not your fault, but, as usual you deflect it from your self.TJ you should have said that we must be better in the fourth and plays like my turnover should not happen.

Talk about a player taking one for the team. Once again TJ's Ford character comes out. This guy can play, no doubt in my mind he has great skills. But man oh man,...... TJ can't do no wrong just ask him.

Two plays now stick in my mind from the last 2 games in the dying minutes. The first one is Bibbys 3 point shot and the other is Boykins steal, unfortunately plays like that don't dictate the outcome of a game just ask TJ.I have a new name...... wearing #11 for the Toronto Raptors is mr. team guy............... TJ dichead dictate Ford.

Are you serious?

If you get that much info that turns into hate from that kind of comment in a post game interview I cant imagine what looking at Smitch quotes does to you. SHATS SHATS SHATS SHATS SHATS.

The TJ hate has reached an alltime high. Notice how in our last 2 games our best quarters were the 3rd qtrs? Then in the early 4th our lead disappeared? Thats because your golden God Jose Calderon is still being a laid back, passive pansy on pick and rolls and our team doesnt play as energetic on defence with him in the game. Both of them suck as backup pgs in their own way.

Thriller, stay with me on this, no question TJ has improved his play in the starters role. There is no question that Jose is hands down better then TJ coming off the bench. There is no question that Bosh has played alot better with Jose on the floor. Please don't talk to me about 3rd quarters when your golden God TJ got to play the entire 4th quarters when Jose lead the charge from the point guard only too see the bench while TJ got to play when it would not hurt the team. Are you still with me. Our team went down hill around the same time Tj came back. Once we battled through TJ'S RANTS AND CRYS WE REALLY NEVERED GOT BACK TO GOOD BASKETBALL. I find it hilarious Thriller that you missed my point about TJ.All I am saying is that TJ had the chance to lead the way and say that mistakes like my t/o just can't happen in the 4th quarter like that but hell no he deflects it by putting his tail between his legs and says that the t/o was not the reason we lost.If it was Jose I would have expected nothing less, I would have been all over Jose if replied like TJ.

As I stated so many times I will not waver, some people call it flip flop. Players make physical and mental mistakes during the game all the time. It happens all the time and we all try to pick each other up when it does happen. Hell TJ is involved in 2 crusial plays in the 4th quarter and he is the first one to deflect it . It just shows once again lack of character or like the little boy said to his mommy....it was not me mommy it was johnny (his brothers )fault.

I don't hate the guy, I just don't like his character and his attitude. I said that I don't blame him for the loss. But hell man if you ever played any competitive sport you would know what I am talking about. Tj has come out and said that he though he played good coming off the bench which is bull shit. Now after this loss he is questioned on that turn over, he basically comes out that it was not his fault.Like I said he played well, but I get sick and tired listening to his crap and how he trys to deflect it all away from him.

Maybe what TJ was trying to say was play me the whole game or the whole 4th quarter. We would then play alot better.Freaking #11 dichead TJ dictate Ford.

All the players in the post game when they lose blame it on the team because its a team game and you cant blame it on one play because they know thats not why they lost. Why should TJ take the blame for the loss when the real reason we lost is because our best player is a soft tired pansy and our defence is still horrible 76 games into the season? You're reaching bigtime.

I didn't get to watch the game. But, IMO, since the PG change up, it looks like both PG's are happy in their new roles, and TJ has been playing the role, very, very well, compared to his old self.

Every player will have their respective "my-bad" plays from time-to-time. We can only hope they learn from them and avoid similar situations in the future.

The losses aren't any one players fault. The last 2 have been close. When we win, we should win convincingly!!

Our offense has been mediocre and there will always be those "off-nights", and the only one thing every player can bring *consistently* to a game - and has no excuse not to - is defense... and right now the team just sucks!!

Everyone knows the playoff intensity is something else. Every team upgrades their defensive intensity 100-fold. Our offense will have a hard time, no doubt, but it will be up to our defense to keep us in the hunt throughout the game(s), otherwise we will be blown away.

I haven't seen - or remember - any kind of calibre-defense in any of our games against a winning team.

sure, the last 2 have been close. But they shouldn't have been, we should have won them handily. You can't allow a Charlotte team to lead 45 minutes of the game on your own court. This is a team that doesn't even want to win right now, they're playing for fun. And beyond that, we've been playing very poorly for the past month, this is no isolated incident. Right now we are one of the worst teams in the league, and it shows in every game. I have no idea why, coaching, lack of effort, players are upset for whatever reasons and they don't care anymore.

And speaking of TJ, I am with raptor123 on this one. While he is playing well, he fucked up the past two games in the final minute. It would be refreshing to hear somebody on this team accept some responsibility. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard Sam the other day saying (for the 100th time) "they made some shots, we missed some shots". Bosh is talking about raising the intensity in general, TJ is shifting the blame around, everybody is talking in generic terms. It's easy to hide behind the crowd, when it's everybody's fault, it's basically nobody's fault in particular, right? That's a very bad trend, and it was started by Sam Mitchell.

Yeah, those close ones should never have gotten to those situations - those were winnable with by a decent margin, but that's because of weak defense. If the lead margin were kept up it wouldn't matter if TJ got picked, or not.

I wouldn't expect the coach and/or the players to call out anyone else, publicly. But I hope they are doing so privately, with the intention to motivate the player(s) at fault to do better.

The Raps need to go to Riley training camp and get fit.

Boston subs demolished Charlotte, Detroit subs demolished NJ, we lost to both of these teams. I think we wouldn't be able to beat Boston and Detroit in the playoffs even if they wouldn't play their stars. We're that bad ...

I posted this earlier, there are losses that you have to tape it and then watch it and watch it all over again, the way we got beaten by NO give us a status of where the team stand nowdays, something isn't working with the chemistry, and this blah blah of first and second unit is totally b.s. some guys due payroll, ego, you name it they have the starter spot as a given, I think it should be by consistency, and as I read in a different post the change of point guard are so predictable isn't funny any more, whoever is hot stay and if we require to play 40 minutes one pg and 8 the other so be it, but getting back to NO, we got tossed away on that game and there was no reaction from the coaching staff thereafter, and then what yes we won the Bobcats and we though everything was ok, we need people with balls to play the game, those are the ones who deserve start the game, and when I said balls yes on the court and off the court, if you screw something be a man and take the blame, don't shift it around on convenience.
I guess that's what happening, how the chemistry is going to work when you have players with balls playing with those without.
Just as a note, if you want to see somebody with balls take a look "Dirk", he could be the definition of playing with heart, it doesn't matter how many points or rebounds, by his only presence on the court, he earns the respect of everybody, from his teammates they feel obligated to play their best game, from the other team they are afraid because they know they are fighting something that you can't beat. So if you want "intensity" to play games you know what to look for.

Amen. Someone has to step up *cough*bosh*cough* and get this going for Pete's sake. I don't know how many times i've said this but I have seriously had enough of this. But you know what, the Raptors are smart, they realize who they should play in the playoffs and they realize who they shouldn't play in the playoffs. So if they think a Raptors/Detroit or a Raptors/Boston series is gonna get them past the first round, hey, it's their team they're embarrassing.

They've got five more games, win 4 of them, and hope Philly wins no more than two, otherwise they have no one to blame but themselves for playing Pistons/Celtics. And I'm only letting them getting away win 4-1, they should be going 5-0, making up for all those brutal losses. They have the Bucks, Nets, Pistons, Chicago, and Miami. And start on Wednesday vs the Bucks or we could just forget about it. Let's get this team going and win some games here.
