Raptors will be well-rested, for a change, and while Pistons will have had a day to rest between Monday and Wednesday games, Raps have enough time to prepare well for the home game.
The key matchup is going to be Billups on Jose, especially when Detroit attacks. They may choose to try and post up Jose at every opportunity, something like what Nelson was doing with bigger guards. If Raps find a way to cope with that, they should win the game. |

The key is the benches. Detroit is starting Amir Johnson allowing them to bring Maxiell and Mcdyess(the best bench bigman duo in the league) off the bench as well as Stuckey and their newfound weapon Hermann who they finally realized can play and play well. Humphries is going to have to play and play well, and one of Kapono or Graham is going to have to have a solid impact as well. I'm counting on Andrea to score 15 or so because its a 2nd game heh. Jose should play a lot as Roko will probably play worse vs one of the better trapping and fullcourt teams in the league. The stretch from the early 2nd qtr and the late 3rd to early 4th will win or lose the game for us IMO. Sams gonna have to really mix and match to win this one.

Hump will stuff Maxiell-not likely because Maxiell eats babies, Bargs can do well against McDyess' old legs.
Roko will destroy Stuckey-Have faith. Kapono/Graham and Hermann..Can we have Solomon for that game? |

wallace always has his way with bosh.
billups will kill Calderon with his size and strength on both sides of the floor rip is going to tire out parker if moon steps up, him and tayshaun should be a good match-up since prince isn't overly involved in the offense don't know how'll they play jermaine, but i wouldn't be surprised if we saw dice in early i think we're screwed. if we can show-up against the pistons, i'll be more than happy. i still think of them as the best in the east. |

I have confidence. Home team has the advantage always and I think we can match up. AP can do what Rip does, Chauncy may eat Calderon but our frontcourt will be better. They can just switch Sheed on O'neal.

I think the way that the calls go in this game is going to be important. As Jackson pointed out Billups and Hamilton are going to be a problem. Raps are going to need JO to keep those two outside without taking too many fouls. He's going to have to draw charges without taking defensive fouls himself. If JO can make people afraid to go inside without getting 6 fouls in 30 minutes it is going to be huge.
