Toby 02-22-2011 07:41 AM

Just what you guys need, another big white dude that can't rebound or play defense.

MARTYNAS 02-22-2011 07:46 AM

No, not Nene. No priests!

Galinari > Bargnani

There does seem to be a pre-disposition to Italian-born players and former Suns players. How does this fit a plan to tighten up defensively? It seems like same old same old.

My hope would always be a trade of one for the other. The two together sounds like more experimenting. Maybe this is the bit of magic that Bryan finally unleashes though. At worst it's going to be good for some craziness. And that's if this happens.

Get anderson too, that'd be awesome :D Just cuz the Birdman is the shit :P

First of all, it's a rumour.

Secondly, how many Italian-born players has he brought here exactly? Two? And one was traded away when it was clear it wasn't happening for him.

Thirdly, how many former Suns have been here? Three, and two were brought here because they had shorter contracts than the guys they were flipped for and one was brought in because he was an available big hack.

Lastly, Gallo is 6'10" and shoots the 3. He provides length and size at the SF postion and is actually not a bad rebounder or defender. If he's brought in for the right price, this could be a great move.

jeffb 02-22-2011 09:27 AM

Why would they not keep him?

ClingRap 02-22-2011 09:28 AM

We're the worst three point shooting team in the league. Bringing in a proven three point threat, regardless of their nationality is good. Isn't it?

Claudius 02-22-2011 09:40 AM

Personally, I'd much rather go after Chandler if he was/is available.

fancylad 02-22-2011 09:40 AM

I still think we would be smart in targetting non American players, so i am all for this if there's any truth to it.

Ciao Raptors! 02-22-2011 10:26 AM

Come on Danilo come on...:yeah:

thought 02-22-2011 10:27 AM

i'd like gallo here at the right price. again though it would further emphasize the need to acquire a lockdown defensive PG. then again gallo can't be any worse than sonny on D.

And Center.

DuCa00795 02-22-2011 10:31 AM

I thought Gallinari was someone who the Nuggets wanted and said they wouldn't make the trade without him?

b55bgc 02-22-2011 10:31 AM

an actual real, honest to goodness centre?
