I will say that a lineup like this would be interesting to watch:

Irving/Bayless
Derozan/Barbosa
Galinari/Wright
Davis/Amir
Bargnani/Dorsey

But they'd be lucky to win more then 35+ games. We'd certainly have to get a real coach in here that knows defense.

DeRozan/Gallanari would be a good combo.. much better than Weems/DeRozan because weems is too similar to DeRozan.

Lucky to win 35 games? Sorry but thats BS. With that lineup its a 50+ win team.

I'd actually swap Irving with Bayless so Bayless can start.

Bayless > Irving

50+ wins? Please, no way in hell do we win 50 games with virtually the same lineup + Galinari. Our defense would still be shit. So unless a defensive minded coach came here (lawrence frank?) then we'd still struggle to make the playoffs imo.

that lineup is one that could build towards 50.... but there is zero chance we find ourselves in a scenario to win 50 next year

My answer was in response to lx who said his coach called him out (even though it was a year ago, halfway through his first full season as an NBA player when he hit to so-called rookie wall). I figured since we were taking what his former coach said as the holy grail, then we should examine other things he also said about him.

Anyway, it's all a moot point now since he's not being shopped by Denver.

Looks like Gallo is a Nugget now, and we got James Johnson at the 3

I would give up on the Raps if Gallo and Bargs are in the same lineup.

if we could get Gallo without spending to much I would do it

Gallo is the type of guy the Raptors need, especially beside Derozan ( I bet you thought i was going ot say Bargnani)

Derozan will never hit the 3 ball, so we need a gunner to spread the floor for Demar, and with Bargnani being the threat he always is imagine the open space Demar will have to work with

plus the revenge factor on the Knicks, ( could be the best games all year watchign Gallo with the Raptors go at NY)
