Default Free agents you'd like to see BC pursue this off-season

As many of you know we're in the process of rebuilding and there are a number of holes in our current roster, so which free agents would you like to see us go after to accelerate becoming a perennial playoffs powerhouse?

For reference here is the current list of NBA Free Agents this off-season.
RealGM: 2011 Free Agents

Also, can someone explain how to import an image into a post? I've been having trouble with this for a while, especially uploading an image from a url.

It's a long shot, but Tyson Chandler would be who i'd want the most. Beyond that,

-Marc Gasol
-Wilson Chandler
-Thad Young
-Tayshaun Prince
-DeAndre Jordan
-JR Smith
-Sam Dalembert
-Aaron Brooks
-Jamal Crawford
-Glen Davis
-Caron Butler

Problem is, most of the ones i'd really want are RFA.

I really hope this summer BC (hopefully) or whoever else runs the GM spot makes a decision on Bargnani.
If we keep him, we play him at the 4 and sign one of the true centers in this FA pool.
This means we have to trade either Davis or Amir and I'm guessing/hoping it won't be Davis.

If we decide to trade him (again, hopefully lol) then we have Davis and Amir at the 4 and we can still sign a true center. use the draft to get a pg or a wing and then fill in the whole with possibly a FA signing or the Bargnani trade...

Obviously I'm dreaming here but drafting Irving or Barnes while signing a center like Chandler, maybe Dalembert and the return from Bargnani would be a great start to rebuilding.

Also, just throwing this out there but has anyone considered taking a chance on Greg Oden?
He's restricted but I seriously doubt the Trailblazers will match an offer...

there was an article on this a week or 2 ago on nba.com talking exactly about this. blazers are in a tough position but are leaning towards keeping him and giving him one last chance. they've already invested so much in him that waiting for awhile longer isn't going to matter as much and they don't want to risk seeing him have success on another team.

I wouldn't sign any expensive free agents until after the new CBA is in place. It could handcuff the organization for many years to come.

Free agency is generally good for playoff teams that want to become championship contenders. The Raptors aren't there yet, and probably won't be for another 2-3 years.

A lot of the ideas in this thread would turn the Raptors into a mediocre team without much hope of getting better. It's probably better in the long run to have another year or two of high draft picks.

Obviously, if we draft a guy that turns into a superstar overnight, or if Ed, DeMar or whoever starts dominating that would change things. At this point, though, I don't see the point in filling roster gaps with middling talent.

That said, I might take a flier on Oden at 4-5 years for $15-20 million or something like that. With him it would be better to sign him for at least 3 years. You have to plan that year 1 will be mostly rehab, year 2 he'll still be getting into game shape and year 3 would be the first year of consistent productivity (barring more injuries). Signing him for less than 3 years would be a mistake, since he would then become a free agent right after he recovered. Also, I wouldn't make the deal without getting a lot of advice from medical experts. You have to wonder why Portland is unwilling to take a chance on him, even at a low price. They seem to think the situation is hopeless, and they're in the best position to know.

Also, if Chris Paul wanted to sign here I'd let him.

I'd like to grab Dalembert to a 2-3 year deal.

He's proven to be consistent given solid minutes and I think he'd play hard for us. Wouldn't require a massive contract too.
