Foxsports: 10 most improved NBA teams this summer

1. Cleveland?
2. Spurs
3. Clippers?? :roflmao:

4. Toronto Raptors
GM Bryan Colangelo has done his part to overhaul a 33-win team by adding seven new players. The biggest was Hedo Turkoglu (pictured), who should be a better running mate for Chris Bosh than the departed Shawn Marion, but the Raptors also got the backup point guard they needed in Jarrett Jack and a building block for the future in rookie DeMar DeRozan.
5. Boston
6. Detroit
7. Lakers
8. Portland
9. Dallas
10. Orlando

What a fuckin' joke. :poopy:

How the fuck are we 4 and Orlando...10??:dead:

Dann38 08-01-2009 11:18 PM

Jesus. I'd have Orlando way higher on that list. Maybe Numero Uno.

For some reason when you go to the link it takes you to the NFL page. Makes no sense. Anyway just go to the NBA page and you'll see the link.

Gurk 08-02-2009 12:02 AM

WE shulda been higher and Orlando shoulda been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay higher

Dark Knight 08-02-2009 12:06 AM

How did the Clippers improve? They added one rookie. Big Whoop. The Magic should take their place at #3

F1nir_ 08-02-2009 12:18 AM

My top 5:
1: Toronto
2: LA
3: Orlando
4: Dallas
5: Santan....watever they are called

what continues to shock me is that people think rasheed as a 20 minute bench player will make a difference for boston. Daniels is NOT signed by Boston yet, so they obviously must consider sheed as the difference maker ...

komot 08-02-2009 12:36 AM

1. lakers
2. cavs
3. orlando
4. spurs
5. raptors
6. detroit

idk how the lakers are so low, they replaced ariza with a more high scoring version of him, plus they are the champs.

I think that the Cavaliers are consistantly overrated from top to bottom, and these rankings only further my stereotype. Anyone who thinks that Cleveland had the best offseason this year needs to pull their head out of the sand and take off their Anderson Varejao jersey. Shaq is walking away from the otherside of the hill and anyone with half a brain and a game's worth of film from when Jamario Moon played for Toronto knows that he is not worth 3 million a year.
Now on to the Varejao signing. His best season showed averages of 8.6 points and 7.2 rebounds, and he has never averaged more than 0.8 blocks per game, all with little to no signs of improvement. But hey, when you have about 8 mil to spend with Brandon Bass, Jason Kidd, Paul Millsap, Andre Miller and Hakim Warrick available, Anderson Varejao is your best option, right?
Here is what I would consider to be the ten most improved teams:

1. Orlando
2. San Antonio
3. Toronto
4. Dallas
5. Boston
6. LAC
7. LAL
8. Detroit
9. Cleveland
10. New Orleans

If/when Boston gets Marquis Daniels and if they add a backup point guard, I will switch them with Dallas.

INSIDER 08-02-2009 01:13 AM

Probably the Andre Miller signing I guess :confused2:

B-RAD 08-02-2009 01:21 AM

andre miller isn't even that good and we are definitely #1. never should we ever be put as low as 4. we made the most moves for the better players. except maybe the ron artest one.

Ball Don't Lie 08-02-2009 01:42 AM

ORL BOS and SAS have to be the top 3 IMO.

Raps are in the top 5.

I dont think Dallas improved all that much. If they got Gortat than yeah, but right now they still have Dampier starting or theyre going small, both bad options.

Portland either improved a ton especially come playoff time or they hurt themselves with a weird fit. Its a wait and see with that one.

And theyre likely now starting Howard at the 2 and Marion at the 3 which could be a disaster.

AP we miss you!!!!!!!!!!! 08-02-2009 03:14 AM
