Actually, it's nice that TJ said that.
Don't worry SWAN, i don't think i'm "reading" anything more into the comment than intended. But when players say good things about other players, it ultimately has a positive effect on everyone involved. Suddenly i am thinking the ship is not sinking anymore and we should be in for a nice final stretch. |

" Ford Wants To Remain A Raptor Along With Jose Too " I think you forgot to mention the "only if I remain the starter of this team" part of it. This was part of the interview after practice (got it from the Globe and Mail)

normal sports say what is expected of u to say, i dont get why ppl get all happy when some1 says "everything is great, im happy for my team, we taking it one game at a time" blah blah blah, only really ignorant players with the same selfishness of Me-Jay (like TO in football) give u the truth and say, this is bullshit, im a star!!

That Jose will be a Raptor next year is undoubtable. The way I see this, Bryan will try hard to move TJ this summer, and I think he wil succeed). If he doesn't, then TJ will remain the starter next season, and Bryan will continue to try trading him the whole year. If TJ doesn't get injured and starts playing better, his stock will improve a lot. Obviously, there still are people who think he is better than Jose, and even if they are a huge minority, all it takes is one GM to be in that camp ...
If TJ still can't be traded after the next season, I would think they would give Jose the starting job and tell TJ to behave, and because TJ is going to approach the end of his contract, he should be more willing to cough it up. |
