Default Ford in no rush to return from latest stinger

Good to see that he isn't going to rush things for the sake of playing. As much as we could use him now especially on offense, I'd rather him feel 100% and be able to continue his career.

"I think my body just needs to recover and relax," Ford said last week. "That's all I want to do right now is relax. Being taken out on a stretcher, it's definitely tough to just hop right back into it a week later after your body just went through a big shock."

TJ is making the smartest decision in his life by not rushing. I claim to be no doctor but feeling 90 % is a good sign, however, it looks like he can be out much longer then we all all think. I know that a concusion and a spinal injury are 2 completely differant animals but could they be similar with regards to when a player returns. For an example when a person gets a concusion or mutiple concusions the time line being in active becomes longer, not only must they wait till they are 100 % symptom free before starting working out but must continue to be symptom free after going hard in practice. The key to his return is that he must be 100 %, anything but that he will continue to rest. Hopefully he will be ready to return to get some games in at the end of the regular season so he will be ready for our playoff run.

I think he'll probably start practicing within the next couple of weeks, and probably return to action by the end of january early february.

I really hope so...it's so frustrating watching a team this talented offensively struggle to score like this

The team overall is better with TJ in the line up. When Jose is not on the floor we have a great drop off at the point guard position. However, as much as we continue to complain lets look at the positive side of things.First, we are a better defensive team right now, and we have a better record in a stronger East Division after 32 games then last year. Jose has played more at this time then last year so its all good. We have a completely differant looking team and we survived a very tough road trip where many loyal rapts supporters thought we would crumble. This team is starting to learn how to battle maybe not as quick as we would like but its coming. We should be a better team come play off time this year.
