That's just what I mean. You've argued vehemently in the past that you have nothing against him. Not that I never saw through those protests. I have dislikes regarding teams and players that I feel no need to try and reason out. I just wish the good fans of Toronto could have approached things the same way, instead of constantly needing to paint a guy simply as a villain and nothing else. Again I have to wonder how the team went anywhere with such a person being a key component.

Anyway - it doesn't matter unless your a fan or player in Indy (both groups consisting of 12-14 people), but he will likely prove to be very much a redeemer there. I'm down with SJ on that one. TJ is pretty good at making the most of teams that are not quite complete. It's taking the next step beyond that which trips him up, and I suspect Jose will handle increased expectations very well.

Correct in the beginning I had nothing against him personally... untill he got hurt...and out came the baby tears....

The guy will always be a "never was" falling just short of "has been"

Wow that makes enormous sense. You really brought it all together there.

How about the fact that he wanted to play in Toronto? Is that redeeming?

Figured as much. You never had anything against him personally though? It's like he stole that ten bucks that Mo gave to you. Which is cool without the blah blah blah type of reasoning.

See and I thought I was going to be the one to get personal....Hmmmm

Anyway, no I didn't untill his attitude became a problem for the team.

If you would like me to go on a 3 page diatribe about it, using big words and not saying anything at all by the end of it, I can . But hey At least I can see the fence without having to look down.

Jesus.

He aint that bad, he just isnt as good as Jose.

He's a shit load better than Tinsley though.

So, he will be a help to the Pacers, Dunleavey can kiss all his looks away though, and when the rock doesn come, he's gonna be as cold as an Indiana corn feild in February.

Wow. I got personal? I said I was cool with the non-blah blah blah short answer. Going on about his attitude being a problem for the team is utterly subjective. The short answer works better.

Why do you react like I just shit on you and you must shit on me in return? Seriously?

I dunno when you refernece a specific "personal" story...I would consider that getting personal...

and no it is not subjective....players and admin have both referenced it as detrimental (sp check)

Actually they have not referenced any such thing. AP said that he felt bad for TJ having to deal with a tough situation. BC and Sam said that the only problem coming out of the pg position was that both players needed to be starters and deserved as much.

Sorry about referencing your Mo story. Maybe you should have kept it to yourself if you didn't want it referenced. I didn't make anything derogatory out of it. I was just calling you on never having anything against TJ until just a few months ago, and now you can't find anything redeeming, and frankly that's how it comes off to me - as having something personal against the guy in the same way that you had something personal for Mo. Is that such a wrong perspective for me to have when you want to express such extremes?

Not at all as soon as you come to the realization that perhaps having an extreme opinion can be considered a good thing, you complained about people flip flopping a few posts ago. I like Mo as a person, I have met him on several occassions...the only opinion I can make about MeJ is the ones I hear, and I have heard them from people close to the situation. You spent the better part of last year saying that the best case going forward was to keep both PG's....when everyone and their mother knew it couldn't happen...I've never been wrong so I don't know how it feels, but I guess I would be defensive too.

OK great. Be right. But can you stop acting like I'm shitting on you if you don't need to be defensive? And the baiting is pretty lame as well.

And I have heard from people close to the situation that Mo wore high-heels and stockings.

almost as lame as the "woe is me". Baiting would be talking about Mo....where Mo is not relivant...knowing my man love (no homo) for him. Simply commenting that I find nothing redeemable about the "little engine with a whiney muffler" is not baiting...

Hi Doc....

OK - I'm the guy baiting here. I was just trying to lighten things up actually. I believe the baiting lied somewhere amongst the comments about fence-sitting and saying nothing with 3-page posts. Please call me pompous while you're at it and we can go from baiting to mere name-calling. Beauty.
