I saw JJ's defense out of McGuire.. I am feeling that McGuire will earn like 15+ min of playing time this season, unless Kleiza plays well and not gets injured.

Not happening. He's our 4th SF behind Fields, Kleiza, Anderson. Baring injuries he'll barely get on the floor other than the few occasions he's needed for defense late in games.

Just finished watching. First time I really saw Lowry play (have never concentrated on him before) and he is definately scrappy in defense. His decision making in offense was pretty bad though. But it was his first game with the team so hopefully that will get better.

Bargs seems to be struggling in offense really badly. Otherwise I dont think he was that bad. Couple of blocks, some rebounds, and didnt really look bad in D. But of course offense is what he is there for so that has to improve.

I think DD has improved somewhat in offense. He is taking it to the hoop more and overall looks somehow a bit better.

Landry had his best game, but to be honest I hope he plays more like this than the way he has played in the other games or he is not any kind of improvment over other SFs.

JVal was impressive. I think Im repeating myself, but one of the things I was most afraid was that he would be a fouling machine and that hasnt happened. He also has some offence and is very capable defender. I dont think there is any reason why he should not start as Center.

Of the bench Jose and Amir were good. Others pretty meh. I think Ed Davis will never be more than second/third string big.

His focus on defence and rebounding was fine last night, as was the case against Detroit.
