Why do/did Raptors fans have this love affair with Sonny Weems?

Since BC got the job as a GM for us, our roster were loaded with medicore players and one dimension players, the list is endless.

I had the pleasure to watch it on My PVR.... Ugly, but at least I could FF when Leo spoke and thru multiple small mistakes all afternoon.... It was tough to watch
Sulliger looked like a star against Ed and Bargs

This is news to me. If anything, we crave superstars. The city was rocking with Vinsanity & is hungry for another player like that. We are just stuck with mediocre players, not much you can do but find the light within the darkness.

JV is our future, and if we can keep lowry, amir is good of the bench. Bargs needs to go, way to much inconsistency, and we need a SF that can score, 2 bigs that can rebound please.

It was crazy how a 2 point lead turned into an 18 point lead so quickly for the Celtics. No doubt the bench kept us in this game in the 2nd and 3rd. Ed Davis was attacking the offensive board, Kleiza looked to score and JLIII hit a couple deep 3s when we needed him to.

The starters were outplayed and we lost.

Look up 82games.com and basketball reference. It's called research, evidence and statistics. Learn something. Maybe use evidence once in a while before you back up your claims. Not too hard either, basic google search actually.

Weems is naturally a SG.

PS: Boris Diaw is extremely versatile but you don't see anyone wanting him to play SG anymore.

Find one of my posts about weems that requires evidence? Him being better than any Wing player we have other than Kleiza? Him being able to play both SF and SG?

What exactly am I suppose to backup?

Trying to look smart by using big words lol. I bet you BS those college essays too

I go to a Canadian university so yeah (sly for the win).

no, that wasn't directed at your weems comment, more at the matter that you don't really post evidence. remember when we had that discussion over Bargs when I had to provide data showing you a few things meanwhile you were either unaware of it, never looked it up or just didn't care.

yeah, when you tell a person to look up versatility how exactly do you expect them to respond? I'm not going to pull a triano.

So Weems is better than DeRozan, yet worse than Kleiza? I guess that's why hes playing in Europe right now...

I never suggested he was better than Derozan rofl.

Weems> Fields/Anderson/Mcguire

I was born in TO, been a fan of the raps since 1998. The US flag is for where I will be doing my masters in January, which is in the United States.

Didn't realize what flag you represent had so much meaning.

Weems may not be the answer at SF, but if you read my initial post I was suggesting the moves BC made to the wing position were suspect. He downgraded the spot. Weems and Johnson are better than Fields/Anderson and Mcguire.

Imagine where this team would be with a good wing like Batum.
