This made me nervous for the whole second half. We count our wins at the final buzzer, not at the beginning of the second half please.

Don't put any weight in it.
Some guy (djsunyc) claimed it happened, over on REALGM.

Apparently, Chandler had to be restrained. I'll look more into it.

Against any other team I'd agree... but against Bargs & the Knicks minus Melo?

Near guaranteed win.

I loved the defense in the first half, from the starters at least. I really disliked the defense in the second half. I really hope they don't rely too much on offense anymore, especially at home where they tend to fall into that too much.

I can confirm that this indeed occurred.

Chandler was held back by Knicks assistant.

Love that JV got into Chandler's head that much. Just keep smiling JV.

Just watched the Raptors game, nice win. I feel like DD overlooks JV on so many possessions. Also, DD has noit been shooting well ever since we traded Gay, just jacks up shots sometimes, he needs to get into team ball more. Other then that, it was nice to see Ross go off and JV get under Chandler's skin haha

at this point I'd take Adams just because we won't be able to get that value for Lowry at this point in any trade

Doesn't really make sense cause we probably would've picked someone else but I would take Lowry, Adams not needed at all to develop since JV is there for the long term.

Also if we didn't trade for Lowry then we would've been worse last year which would've equalled a better spot for us to pick lol

overall D was ok, but we had no answer to Amare. He still got it. Some of it.

i think that's great and just shows how effective JV is. The guy plays a HARD game. He is battling and standing up to every big man he is up against - and as we can see he tends to outplay them/outbang them and outwork them.

Remember a while back we had a thread about how untouchable JV is and i think he's pretty damn untouchable. Having a center who can be a core player like Jonas is just too valuable... and he's only starting to find himself now.

Raptors? Lowry puts on show as Knicks embarrassed again | New York Post

Quote:
After Lowry hit a final-second 3-pointer, appearing to add a little more salt to the Knicks’ wound, center Tyson Chandler started barking at the Raptors after the final buzzer and needed to be held back by assistant coach Herb Williams.

“I like the way we fought,’’ said Woodson, who almost sounded as if he accepted losing.
But Woodson certainly looked angry in the third quarter when the club fell behind by 21 points and had words with Iman Shumpert. Woodson benched Andrea Bargnani and Beno Udrih for the fourth quarter.

Bargnani, who said afterward he has been playing with a stiff neck the past 10 days, got booed loudly in his first regular-season game back in Toronto. But a foul-plagued Bargnani wasn’t active enough on defense and played just 18 minutes, scoring 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting with three rebounds and four fouls. He had little impact — just like in seven years in Toronto.
Poor andrea - having to play with a stiff neck.
