It will be a dissapointing loss. Remember around this time last year. We lost by 39 points and Smitch got fired. Latter won't happen and I wishing to god the former won't either

Man, we're always predicting losses around here. You guys are depressing. I think I'll go back under my rock now.

Denver has a very capable front court in regards to matching up with ours. Billups and Melo will likely expose and decimate accordingly. So, as Leo would declare..'No onions'..

Raps still win though.

Hedo will get tired 10 minutes in because of high altitude, but it will be okay because he's not in shape from playing ball in the summer

Memphis, Orlando, Dallas, SA and to Suns. Only one match disturbed me too much amongst them and this one was to Mavericks. Memphis was early season struggles; Magic game was too close and lost in last 2 minutes: I am giving credit to SA, they seemed more complete team than us w/o Parker&Duncan duo and proved it with destroying Dallas after our game; Suns game could be vice versa, just didn't went in.

So, as i said earlier in this forum , Last 3 games showed that our team can beat any team at anywhere and any time in this league when our players focus on defense and got their momentum. I bet we couldn't said that for last year. I don't see any reason to be pessimistic for this game. I know Denver got too many weapons and can beat/destroy any team in this league esp in their home but they are having a hard puzzle to solve on front of them now.

x-factors
J.R Smith & Belinelli
(Our starters somehow managed to scored equally against opp starters so far. Keys will be scorers from 2nd units.)

Raptors 96- 92

We are going to lose. Stars, stats and common sence says so.
But I have faith in Jay Triano. Hopefully he won't let us be taken apart.

The key to winning this specific game is the 1st qtr.

If Denver comes out with their huge energy boost, gets the crowd into it, and just pounds the ball down our throats in the paint, then we'll get blown out.

If we can force some tough shots in the 1st qtr and actually get some rebounds and keep it close, we shouldnt have anyone turning the game off from embarrassment.

Denver is probably the worst matchup in the league for us, they have A LOT of guys who take it to the whole strong, offensive rebound, and can shoot the 3 effectively. If we're going to win this one, Jay is going to have to have a genius gameplan like the last game, and the guys are going to have to play even harder than last game.

This game is going to show me at least how much grit and tough mindedness we have as a team, whether we quit or not if they do indeed beat us up in the 1st qtr. We havent quit yet as shown by the Orlando/LAC game, but the road is a whole different animal as we all know, and we just came off a heartbreaking loss.

We match-up pretty well against the Nuggets. I mean, Their 1 and 5 are defenders, but I think Bargnani will have a good game, especially since he'll have a guy who fouls a lot on him (Nene). I can see the pace of this game slowing down as it goes towards the 3rd/4th, which favors the Raptors in my mind. Turk should get some decent looks as Melo sometimes falls asleep on D. I hope DeRozan, for once, can just have a true breakout game. I want him to drive Afflalo, and I guarantee he gets the foul calls. I'm going to be optimistic and say the Raptors win 100-94. +/- about 4.
