Sorry I meant to add on your list btw. But yea I don't reallly understand why Raptors starts to pee on their pants ESPECIALLY when they realize their opponent is coming back.

They really just have no answers for the most part. And when we do have answers, they are just lucky shots and bad plays.

Also am I wrong to say that last season Raptors handled critical situations better from last year after Davis/Calderon trade?? If so what the fuck happened? We got the same coach and same starting line ups.

I didn't think I'd say it and so soon into the season but I'm no longer opposed to blowing it up,including the players I really like(DD,JV). This roster under this system is going nowhere fast, honest truth. Ujiri,do what you got to do man but right the ship and sooner than later please! Thank You,sincerely Franchise existed long fan.

the day i join team tank i wont be watching a game cheering for a loss (especially a west cost game). and i definitely wont be posting afterwards.

better things to do with my time.

would rather wake up the next day and hope to see a 'L' instead of cheering/watching every minute of one. thats pathetic.
I want to see this team contend in the playoffs and do so consistently before I die, which I dont think is too much to ask seeing as us Raptors fans have gone through whats probably the worst start a franchise has had in its first 18 years, only making the playoffs a few times and winning just 1 playoff series thus far.

I've watched enough Raptors games being blindly optomistic and trying to convince myself and others that the team is good and the players are there to stay and be part of the solution, but I've been done with that since I wised up 2-3 years ago. I think I'm a realist now. It's a cliche'd situation for me now. My brain wants the team to lose, despite my heart and spirit wanting them to win.

This team as currently constructed is going nowhere, and the fastest way to contention is to blow up its core and rebuild through the draft and building around Valanciunius. We finally have a smart GM and good ownership, so there is positive things now in the franchise, but the next step is getting enough elite or really good talent to get to the top of the Eastern Conference, and this is a really good year in having a shot to do so with so many potential future all stars in the draft.

I know it's hard to fathom wanting your team to lose, but you need to be realistic in what you expect from not only this team, but the Raptors in the future. If we win enough games this year, we're going to be a middling team next year too because of our lack of flexibility assuming we cant trade Gay, and I sure as hell am not watching most games if they put out the same bullshit product they've put out so far this year. I've barely even watched most of the full length games so far this year because they're so painfiu to watch. Fuck that.

You don't have to convince me of team tank's reasonings. I understand them very well.

Like I said, the day I want this team to tank/lose (which might be soon at this rate) I wont be wasting my time watching the games.

Complete waste of my time and its just pathetic really. I'll just check my mobile app and hope to keep seeing those losses.

Its hard to cheer for a team you know will be blown up. I'm positive this team will be dismantled... so why cheer? Also it doesn't help that we have an abysmal record. If we were over .500 then maybe there would be something to cheer for, but there is nothing. I know we won't make the playoffs and we will have a shitty draft pick if we continue on this road, makes cheering very difficult.

If we were actually GOOD and I see great things happening in the team then I'd cheer. But our offense sucks, coaching sucks, game plan sucks, record sucks, watchability sucks, fun factor sucks. Everything just sucks, there are no positives watching rudy shit bricks every game & watch our young guys regress. I want the GM to quit the shit about taking time to assess, and I want to hear some solid remarks about whats going to happen with the team. The "up in the air" state makes it tougher to cheer for the team as well.

I'm starting to realize JV is not nearly as good as we think he is and he has a long way to go.

Sitting him when he makes mistakes in hopes of getting a win is bad. We lose anyways, and he loses out on valuable playing time to learn through his mistakes.

Double loss.

I've only watched a few Raptors games this year, and less than 5 in their entirety, so I'm essentially in the same boat as you with regards to not watching, but unlike you, when I do watch, the mind wants the loss and my fanism wants the win. My mind always wins now.

Going back to the game:

Quote:
Maybe the night's most amazing stat: Not a single defensive rebound for the Raptors in the fourth quarter.
Thats so fucked up.

I agree. I know I'm going to get murdered for this, but he's overrated (mostly by Raps fans). To be fair though he has not been given consistent opportunities to grow/learn. Either way, I'd definitely trade him for a top 5 pick. JV in this year's draft wouldn't go anywhere near top 5.

If He would be in NCAA he would probably be putting close to 25-30 and 15. Maybe he would not go top 5 but he would be one of the best if not the best prospect at C

Can't compare a good C with a superstar wing, especially in this draft

from what I can see I love his game in jv, he has shown all the moves, its just he needs time to figure it out consistently

all young players go through this, defensively I thought jv played really well and shouldn't have been taken out of the game, he was providing more resistance than amir and hansbrough on the defensive side of the ball

that dunk he had to start the game, and then the plays where he trys to post up Jermaine oneal from almost the 3 point line, it shows is potential and immaturity and youth as a player in one game

I am not trying to, If you get Wiggins/Parker for JV you take it and run. Thats not very likely though. Being realistic no team close to top 5 is going to trade their pick. But let's not forget that C's like JV (other than Dwight's of the world) take way longer to develop, and patience is often well worth it

JV needs time, that's all.... he'll be very good, just not dominant like some would dream. It's too bad we chose to fight to the very end with Uzoh... though Drummond would have been a dream. Nothing against Ross, but we need a miracle to save the lack of talent on this team.
