No, this won't go on forever - winning, that is. But the way they play together, the way they picked up team defence, the way the ball moves in our ugly, predictable offence - I hope that continues.
Agreed. AA said tonight, they were tired of losing the team as a whole decided "let's start winning". It seems to me that these guys got a kick in the pants after the last road trip and Casey's back to basics philosophy is working. He's starting to coach like he did last season, other than his fucked up decisions/rotations at times.

No arguments here.... that would seem to be the best thing for the team right now.

Lowry will have to prove that he's a "team guy" by being OK with that for the time being.

Agreed. He's pretty close to what I thought his ceiling might be... so if he improves even MORE he'll be an absolute steal.

Love his toughness this year.

Edit: well, I wouldn't mind the offence getting less ugly, but I doubt that's possible under Casey.
I can handle us losing to good teams... as long as we play hard like this and beat the "bad" teams.

Keep him on the bench for the next 3 years? Getting paid $6M/yr? Because he played like crap for 5 games when he was injured?

Makes sense....

If he comes back playing well he'll be praised and it wouldn't take much either. Such is the life of NBA fans. It's all about the here and now. These days more than ever people's memories are extremely short and people turn on or fall back/in love with players on an almost weekly basis. A couple months ago we would have killed to be able to aquire James Harden, now he's overrated and overpayed......until he goes off for 40/8. lol

Calderon plays very good for a week, trade Lowry he sucks and doesn't fit. Bipolar i tell ya...

Great win tonight! Normally, we'd do a better job on the glass but Monroe/Drummond were to big for us. The thing is, you can live with that right now. Ed and Val are still young and have time to grow and become bigger.

I was listening to the fan590 and I have to side with Mahorn (when they had the interview) about his comments regarding zone and it meaning people don't know how to or can't defend individually.

Can't wait to see our injured players back. Right now we need to be very focused to win but with the potential we can get from Lowry, Bargs and Fields (if Casey is wise enough to use them to their potential and to let them work for every minute) we could take a step farther and go back putting up a serious challenge even to the league's best teams (on the right night).

I just really don't want to take away any minutes from AA and Ross and kill our winning streak right now. I say ride this winning streak, play AA, Ross, Peaches and Kleiza if need be. Just find a few minutes for Fields at most until we lose, I just wanna ride this out. Until then, get used to pine!!!! But I wouldn't be suprised if he played on Friday.
