JV was awful, imo he was as big of a reason we lost as Gay. He got dominated so badly by horford that we had to send a double team and once we did that, it opened up the floor for their guards. And even with the double team, we still didn't stop horford.

the score looks better because our 2nd unit was excellent tonight and demar hit a bunch of low-IQ shots (i.e. long jumpers).

so far we're looking exactly like last year's team (the one from march, when the demar and gay didn't shoot 50% from 3 ...). with the unfortunate exception of JV who looks more like his early season version.

JV is in his second season, Gay in his 8th. JV is probably pissed at himself. Gay.....

He's averaging 11 shots per game.............chucker!

*waits for rudy reference
like i said last year he's a solid 8th man off the bench, he competes every night, he may chuck it sometimes but he always comes to play, yeah we needed him to leave to develop ross etc, but on a good team which actually runs offensive sets other than the wing iso (which he is) he's a solid piece and he won;t have to chuck

I couldn't watch the game but followed what was happening on threads/boards and the scores on nba.com (granted rarely on both considering I was at a screening + my phone sucks). I couldn't see fouls so I saw that JV didn't play much and thought he was in serious trouble but now it seems that that was a game decision (ie.Horford beastly). It seems when DD plays well, RG doesn't and vice-versa. It also seems like Casey went to his excellent smallball.

there was a lot to like here, on the road. 48 points in the paint. Only 12 turnovers. Won on the boards. Basically Rudy shit the bed, and there was way to many fouls. If Rudy had any skill exhibited in this game the win was a cinch.

And Demar gets criticized for low IQ shots? Fucking hell. This analytic bullshit is going to drive me away from watching basketball. Which would put me in the same boat as moremilk, basically. In the future...nobody will really watch basketball games anymore.

so let me get this straight, the fact that I don't like demar shooting long jumpers means I'm not watching the game and furthermore nobody will watch games in the future because of the advance of analytics? Hm ... yes, that really makes sense.

We had no ball movement on offense and no defense when Hawks kept chucking 3s. Lets hope that'll change tomorrow.

Ball movement has been an issue under Casey.
