Yeah thanks, I realized my memory tricked me: It wasn`t 8-20; it was 8-18 and he attempted two more 3 pts.

seriously wtf is wrong with this squad and casey?

where do we begin?

- smallball
- entrusting a journeyman
- no JV
- no TR (seriously? the guy basically deemed better for this team than ED or Drummond yet doesn't play)
- other teams' FG% continues to be too high

+ Anderson playing the whole 4th quarter and overtime.

Who does Casey think this guy is?

That's why I said entrusting a journeyman. It's really bizarre how much faith he puts into him. Most coaches try to help their young guys and get them minutes but instead Casey entrusts a guy who's only now playing in the nba regularly and who's on the wrong side of 30, not to mention, probably won't be here next season.

Casey reminds me a bit of Larry Brown in that regard. Brown always hated young players and loved vets too.

There were some good things in this game. It wasn't all a horror show. Matchups do need to be considered. Executing in a game like this is pretty important. And ultimately this team doesn't quite have the talent available to get the job done. You can say that the talent was left on the bench, but that isn't entirely fair, as much as I'd like to see guys like Valanciunas and Ross out there. I'm thinking we'll see them enough soon, but at the same time it's important that they get incorporated into an organized system, and that's just barely taking shape right now. In a way that's more worrisome, but there are enough hints that they are able to execute and defend properly for parts of games at least.

Milwaukee showed themselves more capable of sustaining their defense. I can only hope that Lowry shows improvement when he gets his back issues sorted out. If he's going to be laid out on the floor like Steve Nash from here on out, and offering only slightly better defense than Steve, then it's a big disappointment. I really hope that is not the case. If not, and they can get the young guys turning into solid two-way players, and add a tough vet or a big like an Ilyasova or Milsap, then they really have something to work with here. It's just not there yet, and they still need to get everyone on the same page for full games. I'm still happy to be watching games that don't completely suck. The reffing really needs to suck less though, and I hate complaining about refs, but damn they need to improve.

Ilyasova has had 3 good games this season. Unfortunately, looks like you guys got a unlucky Ersan ticket. I can't say too much, Milwaukee has beat Portland for 2 years running, and Ilyasova shoots like Larry Bird against us.

Would be funny, but seeing him taking all JV's minutes only makes me sad.

What Fields had spread to :bargs:
Bench him, then trade him. Everyone's here had enough, the experiment has prolonged and needs to be shut down.

why he didn't pass it earlier to 1 of the 2 wings is beyond me, and then why he didn't just throw an alley oop pass to either of them when monta ellis charged towards him and left the lane open for the other 2

That wasnt even the only horrible fast break were run in the game. I dont remember who it was (maybe Fields) who had similar and after Lowry stole the ball in fourth there was also a totally missed fast break.

But to the game. Our offense looked better to start with than it has been lately, but faded of. We were only in the game until OT because JL3 shot those threes. Still not so much iso as with Gay. Lowry looked good distributing early too, but unfortunately also gave up lots of TO's (6 by stats, but he also passed the ball a couple of times to a guy who was destined to get an offensive foul after getting the ball). And I dont understand why Lowry only shoots when we have already lost. He is shooting with good percentage, but only shoots when the game is over. Somewhat like Jose back in the day, who also was great shooter, but never took that many shots.

And I dont see why people are again so angry at AB. He didnt shoot well, but otherwise I think it was a good game from him. He did rebound, played like he cared (ok defense in general), blocked a couple of shots, and had couple of assists.

Amir was great and I think JV was also playing great in the little time he had. I just cant understand why we go small when we have a big who is playing well and we were outrebounding them which helped a lot. Then we totally lost the paint by playing with one big. Its not like Landry "scared to shoot" Fields and Alan "never scared to shoot" Andersson were really that great.

JL3 is looking pretty good again. While he cannot run a team offense at all, he is shooting well enough in the second unit that doesnt have that much scoring power in them, that he has earned his minutes. Tonight he would have earned more.

Hopefully JVal and Ross start getting minutes from now on. I would also like to see AB get back to that role of the bench as soon as possible and see if he could have even couple of good efficient games of the bench.
