![]() Pretty impressive!
When we made a run early in the 4th, I caught myself thinking - please, Casey, don't bring Bargnani in! and he couldn't! I hope it stays that way. It's soooooooooooo obvious, AB is cancer! He's proven it all these years. Imagine we gathered all this momentum from the start of the season! Lowry's just arrived and I'm sure he'll be alright. |

![]() They wouldn't have gathered "all this momentum" from the start. It was a very difficult early schedule, the refs still wouldn't have given the raps respect/fair foul calling, there were a bunch of new guys playing big minutes, and some of them were rookies who have to learn how to play in NBA, and the starting PG was new. Maybe a couple games difference, but not like they'd be near 0.500 record.

![]() So many favourite plays last night;
Amir taking Varejao off the dribble; The play after Lucas & Irving got into it, Anderson being thrown to the ground, getting up and then sticking a three. Very fun game. |

![]() A great game. With the way we have been playing so far and all the inconsistent guys, I was just waiting the whole time for Raps to fold in five mins. But it didnt happen.
Great game from AA, Jose, and Amir. In the end it was nice to see how Jose-Amir connection helped Kleiza get some easy points. Amir can also pass, not just dunk on good assists. Even though we are playing much worse opposition lately than we have for the previous month or so, it seems that the group is working so much better together now. I hope that Casey will have both AB and Lowry start of the bench for first games. But there is also the risk that the good chemistry of the bench breaks down at that point. If you look at it the things working for us lately have been Jose and the bench (which is not the same bench we would have with AB and Lowry). And DD has still been consistent. So to be honest thats quite a puzzle for DC. If he puts AB and Lowry back to starting the whole rotation will change and we will drop some guys who are playing well down on the ladder. But even if they come of the bench, he has to drop some guys to little or no PT. And our SF position is really a mystery. AA is playing well, but then you got Fields who sucked it in begining of season, Pietrus who is stabile, but not really good and also Kleiza fighting for those minutes after we again have two PF's. So far it has worked well with Pietrus starting and AA of the bench, but at some point Fields has got to get some PT and when AB is back, Kleiza needs to play too. I just wish AB would return to that offensive machine he was last season. He will still suck at rebounding and his help defense wont get better (one on one he is actually pretty good in my opinion), but we really need him to be the offensive guy. |
