I don't think involving Lowry would have been wise at all. Lowry's legs were dead at that point. He struggled terribly on the last couple of possessions defensively. And his shot over the last couple of games was already showing tired legs syndrome.

Typically this team would have won the game by stopping Lillard. This time Kyle just couldn't keep up due to fatigue. If anything maybe Ross should have been covering Lillard there. But Lowry clearly deserved the right to try.
