anyone being overly critical of dd tonight (a guy playing a 2nd of a back to back and coming off an injury)...was not watching the game.

We won't even have a chance to win without derozan's steller play in the 2nd half, but i think the coaches could've drew up a better play
not allowing lowry to even touch the ball in the final two plays
having DD dribble it across the key in iso, did he really have the ability to break down his man one on one with time pressure? or were they hoping for a miracle mid range jumper?

Entertaining game nonetheless

if the Raptors had any chance to win this game, it would've been on the defensive end.
If they stopped DL on that dribble drive play, they would've been up 1 and portland would have to foul and they would've won.

They saw lilard run the same play twice and had no answer for it, that was their best chance to win
The idea was for DD to get to the rim, I see nothing wrong with that when you are down 1 and Derozan is on fire, too bad he lost the handle, once again..

I don't blame Demar at all for the final possession. Casey put him in an awful position. Receiving the hand off outside the 3 point line FROM HAYES?! This basically gives Hayes man (Lopez) a coupon to double DD. If Casey had put in Novak to hand off the ball, there would have been more space to operate. Even then, I still think it's the wrong play. Matthews did a great job, but the play was too predictable.

this makes more sense, we honestly have no go to for a final shot.

I do, imo he likely would have more legs tonight and could have had a decent game. It's unfortunate!

Soul crushing. I was dying for them to at least get a shot up. Kyle was wide open on the inbounds and while DeMar deserved the shot I think it was Casey's bad call to run the exact same play out of the last time out and not at least change the point where DeMar should get the ball. 5.8 seconds is enough time for two quick passes.

EDIT: I agree with Finstock, especially since they ran it off Hayes twice.

yea.. I think it would have been easier to accept if they took a shot and missed, now you it's like what if...

btw, still very unimpressed with lillard, beats me how he's an all star. His defense is atrocious and the only thing he does really well is shoot 3s. Pretty mediocre point guard skills.
