We're so going to win this one! :cookie:

Ralph Alpha 11-19-2012 10:19 AM

I feel like this game is very winnable. How great would it be for them to string together 4 wins in a row, and then have Lowry back when the schedule gets much tougher?

Zalgiris 11-19-2012 10:36 AM

I was very optimistic about Indiana game while most of u were saying they will be humiliated. Now you say it's almost an easy win, while I think we won't win, no way, not against defense monsters of philly... :(

edit: didn't see you both are rookies of a forum, that explains...

LET'S GO RAPTORS!!!!! 11-19-2012 11:02 AM

Raps will win by 2-5 points or lose by 5-12 points.

Thug 11-19-2012 11:19 AM

Whats up with all these Tuesday night games? From what I remember we didn't usually have too many of these

Rookie on this forum, okay, but I've been a Raps fan since '98, how about you?
Unlike most I managed to stay positive through the years, even the very dark ones. It kills me when guys start talking about tanking, just throwing away a full year of playing... The glass is always half full with me, so every game is winnable! :yeah:

If Damon Stoudamire could kill the Bulls then we can sure as hell beat these Sixers! Let's do this! :cookie:

You don't have to explain yourself to that guy, he's kind of a douch.

Go Raptors baby, 4 game win streak, then Lowry comes back!!!

He's trolling and I know it! :D

0nekhmer 11-19-2012 12:42 PM

their perimeter D will destroy our wings.. which includes bargs if he keeps playing outside.

LX 11-19-2012 01:15 PM

If Calderon can defend Jrue like Jrue defended Kyrie last night, then I will suggest that he continue to start when Lowry comes back. I have a feeling that the pressure the Sixers put on Jose will be a big problem and everything will fall to shit on both ends long enough to make this no contest.

Nah, he scored 17 I think.

Raptors74 11-19-2012 05:29 PM

97-91 Raps win, I think we(namely Bargs) make a statement this one

moremilk 11-19-2012 06:34 PM

any updates on lowry?

Carlos Danger 11-19-2012 09:00 PM

He isn't wearing the boot and was doing some on court work today, so really now it becomes a day by day thing I suppose.

kill him, lol. Did your post count go down btw? I think this games gonna be a tough one, philly played really well last game against us.

moujik 11-19-2012 10:42 PM

Knowing that Philly can go 32-7 in a quarter if they want to against us might relax them, but no...
Unless Casey will surprise us with benching Il sucko, no contest.

TORaptor4Ever 11-19-2012 10:44 PM

Another winnable one.

Pretty sure that Thaddeus Young always goes off against though.

Would be nice if Bargs could return the favour (not holding my breath).

Ball Don't Lie 11-19-2012 11:42 PM

We dont play well against well coached teams. I'm not looking forward to this one. We're going to lose by 30 because we suck.

BATTIERJINX

Carlos Danger 11-20-2012 05:31 AM

Well we almost won last time, judt got killed by that terrible 2nd quarter.

Beans 11-20-2012 10:53 AM

More of the same. Raps lose by 10.

I was glad to see McGuire get 11 points last game. I'll be surprised if he can continue to score 10 points off Bargs' scraps though.

Someguy again 11-20-2012 10:59 AM

revenge game baby!

AR1815 11-20-2012 12:28 PM

Philly is not a good offensive team, especially with Bynum out. If we can hold them to high 70s/low 80s, I think we have a real shot. We need solid defense on Jrue, and for Bargs to not suck tonight.

Knowing how we perform in what should be winnable games against not-complete-garbage opponents, though, we're probably losing by 20.

Hey I predicted that!!

4 winnable games, we should get them all

Need Calderon to continue playing like a top PG, and Bargnani needs to find his shooting touch.

Carlos Danger 11-20-2012 05:42 PM

uhhh boys...

Lowry is in tonight...

:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:

Bargn88 11-20-2012 05:46 PM

Holy SHITT!!!!!

What a surprise, figured he was out at least another 1-2 weeks...

GREAT NEWS

Aamir 11-20-2012 05:49 PM

Was urging to play in his hometown probably.

I have a feeling that this game will come down to the offense by our bigs. In most of the previous games they were the underdogs vs the opposing frontline, so all they had to do was to work their asses off on the defensive end and hope that our perimeter guys will take care off the offense. In this game, I think that is just not going to be enough.. If our bigs do work on the offensive end, this is a very winnable game. If they don't.. our perimeter guys will really have to out do themselves in order for us to win.

All just my 2 cents, blast away :)

Just Passing By 11-20-2012 06:08 PM

Also, may I suggest adding the link to the opposing team's site, or maybe just the roster, in the OP of such threads in the future? Just to make the OP complete! :)

0nekhmer 11-20-2012 06:17 PM

Hmmm Lowry not starting eh? Maybe for precautions? Maybe because of the recent success in 1st quarters with jose? Or maybe.. we're back in the PG controversy!!:sigh:

lol no, Smith/Wolstat/Koreen ALL tweeted denouncing this. Lowry is not starting due to the fact that his conditioning isn't at 100%.

End of story.
