I'm not sure it's quite hero ball. DeMar and Kyle are passing the ball. But there are not multiple passes. The team as a whole looks like it is trying to get by with a simplified gameplan on both ends. There is a lot more switching on defense. And a lot more clearing out and watching on offense. It's a matter of finding a nice balance, and right now the bench just isn't making that an easy proposition.

One other thing seems apparent - when this team comes out and plays really strong first quarters there doesn't seem to be enough gas in the tank for the fourth quarter.

I agree it's not hero ball, but they aren't sharp offensively and I give alot of the blame to Casey because one thing in particular has been going on for weeks now.

Teams are denying Derozan and Lowry, and when they don't get the ball the play dies. Instead of cutting hard back door and running through to the weakside, which would initiate further movement, both Demar and Lowry are making lazy ass efforts to get the ball eventually drifting out to half court; the team looks like high-school kids when this is going on. A complete lack of fundamentals, effort, and focus. I've never seen a team attempt so many lobs from the high-post out to a guard standing by half court. A super high-risk pass with no reward.

They havn't been sharp offensively or defensively for a while, and it's just catching up to them now.

If the Raps don't start picking up there play soon, we are going to fall too either the 5th or 6th seed. Like Jeff said, the last 2 games Raps have given up something like 239 points, so we desperately need to pick up the defensive intensity.

Lack of consistent defence is the biggest issue here. The offence is fine, were just not paying enough attention to the D

Haven't watched the last 2 games cause of the hectic weekend, haven't seen the highlights either. But I did notice that the Raps scored 113 points both games and still lost, that can't be good

i dont get it....foul trouble...do you get fined 100 000$ in nba if u get 5-6 fouls in a game? cos it reallly makes no sense, to put players that start the game well and have a hot hand like jv had in this game, to let him play 15 seconds.and after a 3 foul put him on a bench....jeez, foul limit is 6...

Whatever you say. Maybe you should marry the Hawks.

Yeah, if i had any idea what you were going on about. For the last time, from the very start, i said clearly, that nobody said anything was a given. Do you want to try to tell me that Toronto played any kind of a good game, but just came up short against a team that simply played too good themselves? I have no idea how to respond to that. I could insult you. That would be childish. So i'll shrug in all honesty.
