And he could do that if we were playing better

They were the two best players on the court for the Raptors despite neither playing great. This is the type of game where Ross needs to show just a little bit of that passion he showed against the Clippers. Hit a few threes, a big dunk, a few steals, but inbetween all the highlights were defensive mistakes and completely unforced turnovers.

I PVRd the game and watched it catching up and it was confusing as hell fast forwarding through the stoppages. It was a revolving door of substitutions. I know there were injuries and what have you, but Casey's lack of sticking with a lineup really showed itself on the defensive end of the floor guarding the pick and roll. The entire team was out of sorts and nobody was on the same page.

Yea JeffB and Bjjs I missed the game cuz of work and been only able to follow thru the box score and the game thread on here. Maybe less 2 PG line ups so GV can back up Lowry more and less small ball unless Fields is used. I think in general Lowry and DeRozan being fatigued is gonna effect their performance. The other guys have to step up or be given a chance to. Now is the time because when playoffs come guys like Stone and Fields won't see PT unless there are injuries.

They completely threw this one away. They just played like a shitty team. When Lowry tries to do too much, a la all of last season, this team goes nowhere. Same with DeMar. They have started to move the ball less and rely on each other less. PP has a lot of value as a glue guy in that sense.

They need to get right mentally and physically and not worry about the standings. It's about trying to peak going into the playoffs now. A constant grind is not what they need right now, in the condition the team is in. A few losses while regrouping would be better than continued slippage.

One of those games where you shout at the tv. Frustrating loss, doesn't help all our bigs got injured. All we have is Hans now... I don't even wanna talk about Hayes.

This isn't the first time Amir pulled something like this during crunch time. Anyone else remember seeing him do this during another game, but got away with it?

In Brooklyn. He yanked on Kirilenko's arm. It was the game where PP stole the ball and hit the game winner

Ah yes that's right. He's been "pulling" this move for a while now, and it was only a matter of time before we got caught for it. Just horrible timing today during OT + ross' off the ball foul.

Didn't see the game, can someone tell why JV played barely 20mins? Looking at the boxscore he was extremely hot in during that time on court?

Must win? What makes it a must win? They aren't really looking at any must-wins until the playoffs at this point.

The most important thing for this team is to get everyone right and rested for the real must win games.

Agree 100% .... we reverted back to the team we watched at the beginning of the year ... lack of ball movement, hero ball, etc

We also need Ross to step-up, but given the hero ball Lowry and DD were trying to play, Ross reverts back to being the shy kid ... DD and Lowry being our vets need to find away to get Ross more involved, but it's up to Ross to show up on D.
