Great to see Acy stepping up and Demar looks great.

Really disappointing game from Ross but I think Ross/Acy/Buycks could develop a lot of chemistry as a bench.

Fields is a waste of a roster spot.

best thing was after the 18-0 Knicks run, the team said enough of this shit and finished the game with a 30-11 run!

The DB we saw in the 4th is what I was hoping for from him. I doubt we'll see it consistently but I liked what I saw there. He looked like he said, fuck it let's play ball.

He's a scorer.
I don't know about how well he gets everyone else involved, though.

The two games we've won we had a combined 48 turnovers, the game we lost we had 14. lol

yes, we limited their monster offensive unit of powell, diogu, leslee and murry to only 17 points, that was pretty impressive

True but who did we have on the floor? Scrubs vs Scrubs.

I just thought we were aggressive on D and really got into them. Not saying we're now world beaters. lol

I really liked all the talking through things, particularly from the starters to the bench guys. To see some of those guys get more comfortable was nice.

I'm getting anxious to see full schemes on both sides of the ball, and a better sense of the full rotation, and the effectiveness of Lowry running things more fully.

So far all I can see for sure is that Demar looks real good, Buycks might have an edge as the main backup if he can sustain a decent comfort level eventually, and Landry is quickly playing himself out of the rotation.

I think Buycks is a better long-term option as a backup point guard than DJ, based on his size, defense, and ball security. He looked a lot more comfortable this game.

I'm also interested to see a little more of Stone, who showed off some nice passing skills today. Maybe they'll give him some floor time as the only facilitator on the floor, it's preseason afterall, might as well give it a try.

And Acy looked noticeably quicker with his offensive moves, so maybe he can play some spot minutes at the 3 afterall. Either way, he should definitely be ahead of Daye and Gray in the rotation.
