Are fans still gonna boo VC? I've kinda gotten over him, especially with Turk here last year.

Yeah, i'd say 6+ years of booing is enough. And ten years of booing T-Mac should also be enough, both are way past their primes and on teams going nowhere.

the booing of VC is out of love not hate many don't realize that so it will never stop, fans will deny it and say its not true but come on you can't tell me ppl wouldn't have wanted him to retire here...Too bad he wanted a fresh start which is why he always exaggerated injuries, to get traded but we didn't want him to go until he made it clear to our gm.Not surrounding him with good players would be another reason he wanted to leave.

just my opinion

Now for the Raps, guard the 3 point line

Phoenix just traded their crappy lefty backup to Nash for the Rockets Aaron Brooks.

THE SUNS HAVE A FREAKY BACKCOURT NOW!
Hopefully Aaron hasn't cleared waivers by tomorrow night, ya'll don't wanna see that in person. Not only that, but Phoenix finally has a legitimate reason to get that pudgy catapult Dudley out of the starting lineup.

We will likely never see a more talented player in a Raptor jersey for quite some time.

I completely disagree! Not surrounding him with good players? He was only surrounded by good players, I remember feeling sick every time they sub'd him in. I was always way more confident in Vashon Leonard at the time and later Mo Pete. He is a great athlete, and even an exceptional one on one player, but all he would do is fire it from behind the three point line and that is a sign when a player is lazy or just doesnt care. People wished VC would retire in TO? Well, I have news for you, VC did retire in TO every night for the last 2 or three years he was there. Players surrounding him included:Charles Oakley, Mo Pete, Antonio Davis, Chris Bosh, Hakeem, JYD, I never really thrilled with Alvin Williams, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few.

I've been watching a lot of old Raptor games from 2000-2002. I wanted my wife to see what all the fuss was about with VC.

There was no one close to him for those two years. Every night he did something unworldly. It's so sad to watch him chuck shots and walk through games.

If the Raps ever get it together and put a team on the court, then we can let VC back into our hearts. Until then, he is more the villain than the past hero.

those players were either gone or injured around the time vince was moved but when they were there vince was the man.and besides antonio davis everyone else was a role player, JYD? come on you don't think the gm could've done better than that? Hakeem was fuckin 83 years old, Bosh was a little stick than, mo pete was a good at knocking down open shots and taking charges, alvin was playing with oden knees. And what I meant about him retiring here was the way VC was playin before he quit, everyone loved him and didn't want him to go.

That's what you are supposed to surround superstars with, 'role players.' Vince Carter should have been in the top three at trips to the line back then but the guy never crossed the three point line, at least Mo Pete, and Leonard hit most of their shots. I just remember Vince being injured all the time back then. I was happy when they traded him, I wanted him gone a year earlier. He was cancer. His mom had Charles Oakley traded and that guy was all heart.
