I haven't watched the second half (which must've been gruesome) but seriously, what did you guys expect? This is the HEAT for christs sake, we're supposed to get our asses whipped by them along with about 20 other teams in the league. They're that good, even without Bosh, because they're freaking deep (a bench of Beasley, Allen, Lewis, Cole are you kidding me???) And we're still average, as we always were. And that's fine.

Gay is bad right now, no doubt about it. Casey's bad. But apart from those two there were a lot of positives in this game (in the first half at least lol). We dominated them for the majority of the first half, which is quite the accomplishment.

The only thing that truly sucked is that we're out of the playoffs right now...

what you dont understand is, this was a totally winnable game if this team was just coached correctly. THAT is what's frustrating. there is alot of talent on this team but its not being utilized correctly.

casey's wanted to match the best team in the nba small ball lineup with our version of small ball (Fields/Augustin/Gay/Hansborough/Ross) where we gave up 9ish straight points with 4-5 straight TOs. It was brutal.

Amen. You hear in interviews from good teams, that they are all trying to play " our game"

Not Casey. He's trying to play " their game ". What happened to building " our identity"? Just a fool.

Exactly. How about we try to make them play our game? Punish them with JV in the paint for going small for once? Huh? Casey? You fucking tool. Go back to Dallas and be Subpar there.

Extraordinarily frustrating game to watch. Such an enjoyable 1st Q too, frankly the first 3 Q's were very solid.

Jonas struggled at times, but everyone seemed to (Gay certainly hasn't improved yet), and he did much better playing in a traditional lineup than with the small ball crew.

How Casey leaves his best big man out of the game for the 4th Q is beyond me.

DC=Stealth Tank. You'd think that he's intentionally tanking with many of his coaching decisions but he actually thinks his methods can equate to winning. Smallball, Isos, Wing Isos - #Casey

Tonight's Bobcat game should be a good indication of the strength of the tank.

I thought there would have been more evidence of Nick Nurse's handiwork by now. He sounded pretty delusional in the last in-game interview I saw so maybe he isn't going to be much help.

On another note, Lebron's game is maturing like a fine wine. The game he was playing just seemed to be going in slow motion for him. I think Lebron only now is truly starting to enter his prime...scary.

you know how bad this is, we haven't enjoyed watching a raptor game since Bargnani went down in Utah, like straight entertaining game, and player when Bargs was playing well before he suffered which looks to a career ending calf injury, never been the same

that's how sad things are in raptor land, we need to tank so we can draft a top 5 player in the draft and hopefully rejuvenate the team and its fan base because this is getting hard to watch

I would be much happier watching ross start, rudy at the 4 and Jonas at the 5 amir off the bench, and make sure Jonas and ross get 30 minutes a game
Never ever liked him.

A wealthy motherfuckin' asshole getting paid a gazillion dollars to jog casually and wobble his head like he's to cool for motherfuckin' defense. And it's a 6 point game! Loser. Bryan Collangelo's lasting legacy. He burdened us with Rudy Gay.

Trade this bum. I won't spend a dime to see that bush-league primadonna play a minute of live basketball this year.

He does have some positive impact, but overall he offers so many negatives. If they could get anything for this guy it would be a real boon for this team.
Hopefully everyone on this board sees the same things that you guys do.

I'm so damn sick & tired of watching players who just don't give a shit.

Down 16 was it, with 7 minutes to the world champs and playing back to back against the bobcats. I have to assume both JV and Amir sat in the 4th because the game just got out of hand far to fast and there was zero point in them playing if we play tomorrow (today).

Ya, JV has been so over-used already. Better to rest him and Amir for the back to back second game. Charlotte is just such a physically brutal team they need to be fresh for the upcoming battle.

I'd be honestly surprised if someone didn't. I saw it last year when I went to a game and made up my mind then.

This team has really lost me right now. Really lost me.

I am not sure what DC was thinking but I assume he thought that the game against CHA is more winable than the -16 hole we were at with 7:00 on the clock.

the thing is, JV is more than capable of playing 35+mpg but casey is so clueless to JVs ability and how to use him.

small ball, small ball, other team playing small ball? lets counter with more small ball 2pgs

I've seen it from day one as well but was kind of willing to give him the free pass considering that his presence does open up the court a bit for other players, and I was hoping he could maybe pick it up to a reasonable level.

The NBA is full of character teams right now - a coach cannot be respected if he cannot discipline a player like Rudy because of how much he is paid. The situation completely handicaps the potential growth of a team.

Demar pissed me off last game as well - their was about 10 possessions where the logical next pass should have gone into the post, but with Demar I know that he will respond to the proper criticism or instruction or atleast make a good effort. He has character.

I'll keep cheering these guys, it's early in the season, but with a player like Rudy playing heavy minutes I find myself still looking forward to future years.

I thought i could stomach Rudy for a year or two. He does have games where he makes a difference. And he did help raise DeMar's level of play. But now that DeMar has raised his game further on his own, it really makes it hard to see the need for this guy. And i do suspect that it's yet another big name with no ability to back up the bigness of the name, that Bryan brought here to stew. Jermaine, Hedo, Rudy.
