31-15 actually, but yeah the Raps have been playing impressive ball. I wonder what their point differential is since the trade. It must be somewhere near +6.

I'm seeing the Vasquez that caught my attention when he was in Maryland. I remember wanting that guy in Toronto. Funny how Masai did too, and that it has happened. He played hard on both ends last night. If he can keep hitting that floater, which I think became erratic after his ankle injury, then he is a really nice piece.

Too bad about Ed falling off the map. It was cool to see him back in Toronto anyways. He got to hold DeMar's baby before the game.

Hollinger has them at +5.94 over their last 25% of the schedule, which is 16 games.

Yeah they showed him doing that the last time Memphis was here or was it when we were there...anyway, nice to see they're still close. Wonder if DD still stays in touch with Sonny?

Ed Davis is DeMar's baby's godfather. I remember DeMar saying they text like every other day. Bring back Eddy D! So he can be on the bench behind OUR bigs now.

Yeah, before I saw how good PP is, I would've loved having Ed back here. But PP is just too much of a better fit with his outside shooting and size. Even having Ed over TH can be arguable because of TH's energy and toughness. No doubt Ed played great before he left though. Was averaging 14 and 7 as a starter.

i loved Ed, but he'd be our 3rd PF so not sure we souldn't just look to plug other holes. namely the backup Center position and the backup SF position since i don't see us keeping Salmons. Then there is KL and what we'd do if he walks.....the PF spot is pretty solid at this point.

As a bench player I'll take Ed but I really think he peaked when we traded him. He really benefited from the fact the team sucked and had no good bigs and he took advantage of the minutes he got. If I remember correctly he kept getting swapped in and out with Amir depending on who was better and now we realize Amir is superior and the only reason why they were sharing minutes was because Amir was having one of those struggling times in his life with his health.

I agree that the main priority is re-signing Lowry or finding his replacement. Then we need that bench swingman because Salmons is probably gone or we want if possible an improvement over him. We also need another good defensive C. Ed would not fit into that. He lacks size and we really haven't seen that he can play defense well other than the occasional blocks which is also debatable whether or not can determine whether or not someone is good defensively. We need that real C because JV still isn't good enough to be relied on every game and every team should have at least 2 useful Cs.

I might take a chance on Ed if we decide that he replaces the position of Chuck Hayes. In any case, I would only want him if he were to play a pretty deep bench role.

Would rather sign a decent 7 footer than ED.

I would really want us to take a look at Ante Tomic. He is very intriguing big imo, oh and he is 7 ft 2

also we should take a look at Sofoklis Schortsanitis. He is only 6ft10 but he is huge

Those are the kinds of names you hope end up on a high profile team that gets national US coverage just so Barkley has to try to pronounce them on a TNT broadcast.

Speaking of Charles, I seem to remember seeing that Sofoklis had let himself get badly out of shape.

I think it's around 4.5, we had a pretty decent differential before the trade too, -2 or smth, but there were only a few games played with gay in the lineup, he was traded early.

Yes that was true at one point, but it seems like he lost bunch of weight and gained more muscle since.
