The crazy thing about Ross is his play style doesn't require him to be ball dominant to score either. He can fit in any system with his defense + 3 point shot and be effective. His handles aren't bad either but knows when he's dribbling too much

Agreed. He could easily be a Danny Green type player. He might even already be a Danny Green type actually.

I never really liked Danny Green. He is a good 3 pt shooter but that's about it. Ross has much higher ceiling. I liked Ross from day 1, was a bit surprised we picked him though.

Terrence in his 2nd year and already dropping 50+
that is talent.. wing players only drop that amount if they can shoot the 3 well..
the reason DD doesn't score 30 to often is because most of his baskets are two pointers.. Terrence needs to ride this performance, this is no fluke, the kid has natural talent.. speed, def, athletic and strokes the 3.. just needs to get a big stronger and work on the left hand

I love Ross but I doubt he can keep up 17+ performances on the regular basis at least for now. He is still way too inconsistent, I'm actually little afraid that he will end up developing into a streaky shooter (JR. Smith, Crawford etc.) Hope I'm wrong..

nothing wrong with those two, jamal was and still is a pretty good player and smith could have been better had he not been such a nutcase. And both of those players were held back by their disinterest to defense. They could have been stars if their defense wasn't so bad.

Ross > DeRozan, been saying that for a while but I wish Casey would realize that. Hes just so much better with a much higher ceiling.

*sigh* And so it begins.

Props to Ross. Ridiculous game, but let's see him bring it on a regular basis before we start jerking him off.

Oh yeah and..... FUCK YOU HEDO. Come back to the ACC and injure DD. What an asshat.

Well, imo he is more athletic, is already a better defender, better 3pt shooter. Right now it just comes down to consistency and hard work. If he is willing to put in the time in the offseason he certainly has the potential to be a better all around player. In other words, if he has DD's work ethic his ceiling is higher. Anyone notice this kid's leaping ability when he goes up to grab defensive rebounds? It's almost comical how high he gets. lol

DD can score, consistently, in far more ways than Ross. Although i have to say Ross has hit a few floaters and leaners recently, which is encouraging. DD has developed a fairly polished offensive game tho.

however Ross has the 3pt shot and awesome defence, he could be a great player. No need to compare them, they're quite different players.

holy shit, what a game!! one of the best nba games i've seen in the last few years. I was losing my shit at times! Crawford and reddick, fuck you! kept shouting it!

the passage where ross did the follow, got the steal and the oop was the most exhilarating sequence for ages!

Ross right now is a better two way player than DD when he was in his sophomore year. Derozan is in his 5th season.

Arg I only was able to see the first quarter. Watching the game the day after on League Pass isn't the same.

Nine rebounds from Ross too.

The Raptor's mercurial interest in playing defense worries me.
