Why not? I hope we destroy them by 20+ points.

Let's quiet the critics now, shut down Drummond for the game. Win or lose, I don't care, I just want the crazytalks to stop.

I'm anxious to see how Valanciunas does at home. Really hope he can settle down a little and just play his game. He simply looks intimidated and scattered.

YES, this needs to happen Yesterday!!!!

It happens like this....HINDSITE is a bitch! We have to get over this shit because people here obsess over things that cannot be changed. The lottery is a crap shoot. You win or you lose, its literally a luck of the draw (when it comes to making your pick)

Tonights game will be codenamed "Operation Crush Drummond" so for dam sake Raptors, play some D and embarrass this kid

Forget drummond, need to play better defense overall. Bargnani was horrible on D, bench his ass again if he blows assignments

He didn't seem intimidated at all IMO.

I saw a fast big guy running up and down the court asking for the ball. He looked confident in his abilities.

I remember when we had Hoffa, he would take longer than anyone else to run down the court and then he would position himself under the basket and just sit there until he got 3 in the key.

I think he looked fine out there.. the problem was he was on the floor with an unwilling passer in Lucas

Nobody passed him the ball, even jose. He was constantly rolling to the rim asking for the ball and never got it. This team needs to get used to throwing into a center that can play inside and actually score.

Val was definitely calling for the ball on every possession when he was out there, and looked far from nervous (2-3 blocks dont say nervous to me) but the guy is a rookie, thats just missed the entire training camp, so hes not going to get all the touches he wants right away.

yes. just b/c its pre-season and we can have fun with it while improving. i'd love to see Val shut down Drummond, dunk on him heavy, and have a better overall stat line.

ya ya ya..... JV needs this, JV should do that.....lets forget him for a second. Toronto picked Ross instead of Drummond, lets focus on helping ROSS stand out. Make it a point to get him the ball where he can succeed and not just bailout 3 pointers. Ross has shown that coming off a screen 17 foot out he is lights out, we keep talking about how gray sets huge screens, well lets effin use them to free up Ross.

Oh wait. That would mean Lucas would have to pass the ball or actually run plays....

Ugh.

Switching speeds, whats the word on Lowrey, is that stiff gonna go? I heard Casey say he may be ready tonight.... can't wait to see what he can do for this club

Personally, I am not too big on John Lucas. He is way too inconsistent, and I am not basing it on 2 pre-season games. If you look at his career stats, you will find that his field goal percentage throughout his career has never risen above 0.399. His sub-40 FG% shows that he does not value quality shots.

Ya watching Lucas reminded me of Mike James, and a bit of Bayless.

A couple times Bargnani would set the screen then roll, and Lucas would chuck it.

When Val was on the floor, he had his hands up every possession asking for the ball and never got it.

I really hope Lucas is just a filler right now, I don't wanna see this guy in the regular season at all.

He can score and that's great, but his role is to distribute the ball and get his teammates involved.

No, Ross needs to get more looks.... JV needs to get reintegrated back into the play book after missing the entire training camp
