I didnt leave Realgm.

And why do you do a separate post for each quote. Is it to try and get you post count up?

Or is it somehow clutch to do that.

A free throw shooter has nobody. Nobody can help you at the free throw line. Nobody can mess-up for you at the free throw line. The responsibility is all 100% on the free throw shooter.

But guess what, it's just a basketball saying. It's been around for quite awhile. You dont' need to try and discredit everything.
So a pitcher on the mound has everything, but an nba player shooting free throws is alone on an island. A mound like island made of sand and dirt, in a sea of green grass.

I can concede the kicker

Boxer has his trainer, outside of the ring shouting encouragement, nothing unlike 20K fans chearing you and wishing you well.

and what about the golfer, you missed to explain to me how it is easier to make a 4 footer for a million dollar prize than it is to make a free throw, that may or may not win the game, seeing as how time was still on clock when he shot them.

nice counter point.

Please explain how an nba athlete who shoots 89% from the line who in a game shot 90% from the line is clutch?

I would say he's been an 8/10 on offense and a 6/10 on defense.

What was with Patterson, he passed up multiple open looks. Unlike him. One of the worst games I've seen from Patterson.
his defensive rating in game 4 was an 89.

But I suppose the eye test says otherwise.

There was a good stretch where Lowry was trying to feed different people, and they all pretty much wanted to defer right back to him. Even DeMar, who somehow gets criticized for hero ball, was deferring, right up to where he drained the 3.

It looked like the whole team was just wanting the clock to run down and the game to end. They did a good job of winning the third quarter, which was a big deal and pretty much cinched the game for them. But they did so while not getting stops going into the fourth. Patterson was exactly the guy they needed to get the offense on track, but i can imagine that he wanted to be the last person responsible for any chance at a loss this time.

I really hope Amir shows up for game 6. That would make things much easier. Aside from the fourth quarter in game 4, he has had so little overall impact. If he can bring 20+ minutes that are something like that quarter then that will be something Brooklyn likely isn't ready for.

I'm watching this game right now, and we were just so much better compared to tonight. Like night and day.
