Remember how many times we saw Caldy and Amir hook up for a play last season before the trade? Caldy always found Amir and they had great chemistry...

With Lowry not so much, although Lowry has been ALOT better the last few games with finding his teamates...

Power to the TANK!
KL takes max 9-10 shots/game. Maybe if the wings would give up some of their ill advised shots...

I know from guys who've played the game year round, they NEED the break because of how much of a grind it is. Doesn't matter the age. If you're playing competitively for 10 - 11 months of the year it's tiring.

The age factor is just b.s.
come on, give me a break, what travel? Going from europe to summer league, back to europe and finally coming to the states is supposed to tire a professional basketball player who probably does a thousand miles a week? As for practice, I should hope all our young players spend every day practicing during the summer, not lazying on the beach.

How about all the guys who went to the playoffs and *really* traveled and played a ton more games. How about the guys that went to the euros and are showing no fatigue effects (parker, batum etc).

age totally makes a difference btw, not only it's easier for a young guy to recover from effort, there's also a lot less mileage on their legs, fewer injuries in their past history and so on.

I guess we should have went easy on Bargnani too, poor guy having to go back to italy all the time to play those damn tournaments.

partially, but I still think he has a different presence on the court - he just seems out of many games, like his mind is not really into it. Could be the lack of touches affecting the rest of his game though, who knows. I truly hate the fact that casey not only doesn't stop him from shooting 3 pointers, but actually encourages him. I get that we need spacing all that, but in that case start nowak or something, does he really thing any team is going to guard amir closely at the 3pt line?

On Amir - Lowry should make a consistent effort to involve him in pick'n'roll. However, with JV preferring to operate closer to the basket, Amir has almost no choice but to step outside somewhat, for spacing reasons. Unless bigs get more touches, by taking some away from less efficient wings, Amir is the odd man out on offence.

Serious question: do you know anyone who has played basketball at a semi professional level? do you know anyone who has played ncaa sports and tried to go pro? If so, then you're answer is different.

You're talking typical talking points without any real knowledge on the subject. I don't have time to argue right now.

Great red herring btw on Bargnani. Effort and fatigue are two different things.

Oh I envy the hardcore tankers. Tomorrow's game is going to be an exercise in masochism.

I might end up missing this game, might work late. Might be a blessing in disguise.
