Hope I'm wrong, but....

Feels like I've been trying to convince myself that it's early and this start will be a distant memory soon.

Feels like Brian Colangelo has disappeared.

Feels like Dwayne Casey is saying all the right things to be positive for his players.

Feels like there will be more injuries.

Feels like the young players won't learn enough to make a difference this year.

Feels like there will be 6 true playoff teams and 6 other teams around .500 in the east and Toronto will not be one of them.

Feels like when/if a trade comes, it will be too late.

Feels like as far as the playoffs are concerened, this season is over.

Put on a brave face, Raptor fans.

Looking at the next few games, 2-14 is the most likely scenario, especially if Lowry doesn't get healthy or even forces a return.

just saw the box score for the philly game, Bargnani is coming back into his own, which I'm happy for, and rather expected. Derozan is doing great with getting stats other than scoring on top of his scoring, but he needs to start taking less, and better shots. his percentage shouldn't be that low. He had a great percentage early on, hopefully that improves with the return of lowry

Lots of road games and you can see not-so-great teams thinking they need to be up for a game now because they can get a win....like Philly did.

I can see us going on a 4 game winning streak w/wo lowry starting at orlando, and if lowry is back for houston (should be), 5 wins in 6 games. That would definitely help us I can see us beating one of the first three teams as well. 6-9, that would definitely help our record

the thing that worries me is Bargnani is doing this without lowry in the lineup, question is can he play like this when lowry comes back and he and derozan are our 1-2 option on offense or will he fade away like he did earlier

he might fade away, but if he does, he'll fade back in. lowry and bargnani's games are complimentary, hence once the chemistry builds up it'll be just as good, if not better.

Derozan needs to work on his shot selection. below 48 percent is just damn poor!

I would love to eat these words but I looked at the schedule and I don't see us having more than 7 wins by the middle of next month and that means we don't have a shot at the playoffs.

It's not the 1-5 record that's disturbing. It's that they have gone right back to relying on hope of hot shooting games in order to win.....this is while other teams they face are relying on imposing their will.......in the paint, on the glass, at the line and driving. And now we have to ask when Lowry is coming back and what condition he will be in. They don't have the luxury of coping without what he brings.

Seems like we are this years Bobcats thus far. I hate it when people make it seem like this team is only good because of Lowry. Its exactly the same team as last year pretty much. The season is still young and they will eventually get it done. However it just seems like were tanking right now so we can get our 1st rounder next year since its top 3 protected I believe.

really? this team's looked like a tanking team to you? It's looked to me like a team with a lot of new faces, and lacking in chemistry. you think lakers are tanking for a top 3 pick too?

Oh, Lowry's very important. If I'm not mistaken, in the games before the injury he was 8th in the league in scoring and our 6'0" PG led the team in points, assists, rebounds and swagger.

Hey, here's a silver lining....Didn't that playoff team a few years ago go 1-15 to start the season before going on a run? Well, this team looks like it will be 3-13 after 16 games this season. And I'm willing to bet the opening schedule wasn't as brutal as this year.

This tough stretch -with injuries- could have happened at any time during the season. For us, it was right at the start so we're screaming to fire everyine and trade everyone. Let's see what happens in the 2nd quarter of the season.

Yeah, but it literally cannot get worse for a start than this season, so they are not actually as bad as 3-13 (Which I think they will be).

Are you talking about the 06-07 team? They were 2-8 after the first 10 games.
