Was brought up on the fast last night. This stat makes me sick right to my stomach. This is why Bosh needs to go. You don't pay power forwards max deals unless you have a lot more talent then we can afford around him.

Drum Roll Please.........

Against teams that have an above .500 record, the Raptors are........

1-25 in our last 26 games.....Yes thats right. 1-25 against teams with a .500 record or better in our last 26 games! So in 26 games we have beat a decent team once. WOW thats bull shit

Well we have only faced 8 teams over 500 in those last 26 games

We've won 1 vs Atlanta

We Almost beat LA Lakers and Denver (lost at the buzzer).

So Could of just been easily been a 3 and 5 record.

Inconsistency again... We are capeable of winning every game against every team in this league. We have beaten the top teams already this season and we are usually beating teams we SHOULD beat.

Lol..... and the reason for all of our losses has been Bosh right?

Because he's supposed to avg 35 + 17 every game, notch 10 blks and drain gamewinners at every opportunity..... all while playing 48 min/gm.

Im not saying that your are. Im just saying with the team we have, he aint taking us anywhere. When was the last time a team with a max money PF went anywhere without some serious backup.

Who do we have? turk, calderon, Bargs hahahaha, we still dont even have a decent shooting guard man.

So why are you blaming Bosh?

How about you blame the GM who didn't put the proper talent around him?

The problem with that line of thinking is that you're identifying Bosh as the problem.... and thinking that the team would be better with another player in his place....

... when in reality it's the supporting cast that's the problem.

If guys like Hedo, Bargs and Jose & Belli can step up on a consistent basis then this team is going to be better. If they don't.... then it won't.... no matter who's here as "the franchise guy".

When announcers and analysts toss around stats regarding a team's record against opponents with records above or below .500, you have to keep a couple of things in mind. Most importantly, are they talking about the teams that are currently above .500? Or are they talking about teams that were above .500 at the time of the game? For example, Cleveland was technically below .500 when we played the Cavs (0-1), so some announcers/analysts might not count them in a stat. Conversely, a team like the Hornets was above .500 when the Raps beat them, so they would count in the Raps win column. Personally, I find it more useful to know what Toronto's record is against teams that are currently above .500

After giving the schedule a quick glance, the Raps appear to be 11-30 when playing opponents with records above .500

So, either way, the Raps haven't done very well against solid opponents. But, as you can see, they've done a little better than 1-25...lol

Problem is our supporting cast is not going anywhere because they all just got deals, so the number one guy has to be replaced. Hey i would love it if Bosh could stay and we could go over the tax to sign the next number 2 guy...but we cant, so he has to go and we need to sign Joe Johnson this off season instead.

I'd take that trade off, if only it were possible.

Actually if we go back 27 games we beat Miami, LAL, Atlanta and just prior to that we beat the Spurs, Dallas,Orlando.

In the past 2000 years the Yankees have only won the World Series 27 times. They must suck!

What is this, logical fallacy and statistical misrepresentation day in Raptorsforum?
