Default ESPN's Ryen Russillo Andrea Remedy!!

Yesterday's NBA today podcast Ryen suggested BC trade away our predicted fourth pick and Bargs for Nash and Gortat. Seems like a Marketing solution but may screw our long term chances. Would you be willing to drop a hypothetical Irving/ walker for Steves swan song?

It's not a bad idea.... though it's definitely necessary to ascertain when you think Nash's production will decline. Our young guys aren't ready to win at this point..... in my opinion.

Is Ryen Russillo a Suns fan?

The only way that happens is if Colangelo is secretly planning to go back to Phoenix this summer.

Also, I didn't sit through 55 games of fail this season for Gortat and a year or two of Nash.

why is it so assumed Colangelo wouldn't trade Bargnani? I think it's foolish to assume that one of the most trigger happy GM's would intentionally refuse to trade one guy.

It has nothing to do with Bargs. The pick is the issue. We need to add a piece to the core group, and Gortat isn't it.

I'd trade Bargs for Nash in an instant.

Please no. Not enough long-term talent coming back in that deal. Not a huge Nash fan, either.

I wouldn't trade the pick for Nash, but I'd definitely trade Bargnani for Nash.

Why? It's not like they'd be getting an All-star. Not that i would do this, Nash is nearly done and as much as i like Gortat, i don't know if i want to part with a top 3-5 pick. Then again, getting rid of Bargnani is tempting....it's a pickle i tell ya.

The rebuilding process should be a marathon. I fear BC views it as a sprint. While I wouldn't touch this deal, it seems like something BC would swing.

This ownership doesn't like marathons.

Caldy has to be dealt in order for this to work. Don't really like it.

I would seriously consider it if there was a way to unload Jose as well. Nash teaching Bayless how to be a pg is intriguing.

Jose, Bargs, Torontos first

for

Nash, Gortat and Phoenix's first.

Having Nash on this team would be amazing. Just imagine how much Kemba Walker would learn under Steve Nash's wing.

Who exactly would you miss out of that deal? And we'd still get a lottery pick. Gortat/Pietrus upgrade our defense quite a bit and if BC can somehow convince Barnes to opt out of his contract for more money sign him. Then you trade Jose for depth....

And Nash's contract is almost up.........future capspace!
