1. Durant
2. Westbrook
3. Griffin
4. Harden
5. Rose
6. Irving
7. Ibaka
8. Love
9. Lopez
10. Curry
11. Faried
12. Holiday
13. Anthony Davis
14. Monroe
15. Ryan Anderson
16. Batum
17. Thad Young
18. George
19. Cousins
20. Jennings
21. Lillard
22. Sanders
23. DeAndre Jordan
Quote:
24. Ed Davis
AGE: 23DOB: 6/5/89HT: 6-10WT: 232POS: PF
PPG: 9.2RPG: 6.5BPG: 0.8 3-YR WARP: 8.9

Current: Davis is finally seeing his production match his potential, and the Raptors are now one of the NBA's hottest teams since he has moved into the starting lineup. Davis has real talent to "feel" out a defense's weaknesses and earn easy baskets by moving to the perfect spot on the floor. He gets a lot of dunks this way, and he finishes a high rate of his non-dunks too. Davis works at rebounding every shot, and does so effectively, while making very few mistakes with the ball. -- Thorpe

Future: With his performance over the past month, Davis has earned the right to stay in the starting lineup after Andrea Bargnani returns, and he might not give up that role for years. Strength remains an issue for the rail-thin Davis, especially in terms of defending the post. MySynergySports.com ranks him 124th out of 152 qualified players in points allowed per post-up. -- Pelton
25. Eric Bledsoe

NBA - Kevin Durant, Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook among top players under age 25 - ESPN

i'm actually surprised ed is on this list. not because i don't think he's earned it or deserves to be, but because i didn't think anyone else was noticing but us. i'm happy for Ed, watching him turn into a player has been awesome.

and to be honest i'm shocked lillard is only 21st, sould be the rookie of the year and right now i'd take him over probably 4-5 of the players ahead of him on this list.

Lilliard is better than Thad Young and Ryan Anderson. Maybe even Faried.

It's annoying me so much how people are forgetting him.

I'd also take him over Jennings, Lopez to be honest.

I'm not surprised that DeRozan isn't on this list, I'd take any of those players over him.

yeah it is a pretty debatable 25 imo. i still don't know how i feel about anderson and sanders being on that list let alone the fact that anderson is ahead of players such as lillard, batum, george, and cousins.

maybe the order of this list is random. durant and westbrook are first on it just because author thought of them first
I see no other explanation to such a dumb order

Lol... you kidding that Durant isn't first? On a list of under 25? Debatable that's he's the MVP outright.

Faried is so overrated its not even funny.

To be clear: This is a ranking of how we would order these players if we were starting a franchise and would have them for the next several years, not just this season.
If this is the case, Love should be a lot higher considering he was a 26 and 14 bigman when healthy, and Anthony Davis should be 2 or 3 on that list based on his massive potential. The top 8 in no order should be :

Durant, Westbrook, Griffin, Harden, Rose, Irving, Love and Davis.

After that it's a lot easier to rank the rest. Ibaka is a nice player, but I dont think he'll ever be a 1 or 2 option on a good to great team. I think he'll always be great at what he is now, an elite shot blocker with a very good midrange game, and good offensive rebounding capabilities. His defence still needs a lot of work, but he isnt in the elite class of the top 8.

The only other guys I can see cracking that top 8 in the future are Curry and Lopez. Both of whom have taken their games to the next level this year and have been game changers, and their teams best players this season.
