Fair enough. Thompson, Speights and Jefferson aren't really centres, but maybe I'm splitting hairs.

We should send Bargs to chi for a package centred around Joakim Noah; He'd be perfect here.

Well he has togain that respect by putting his best foot forward day in and day out. I do believe he shoulda been on that list though but for respect he has to gain it, sure he has good nights but he has equally as many bad nights. Hence he doesn't get a lot of fouls called for him but a lot are called against him

it's not centers, it's bigs. And Andrea should be ahead of speights, but you can't really argue with the rest of the top 12. And he's just scratching the surface, in fact, the only thing that keeps andrea out of the top 5 is his defense. As long as he wants it, he can be right there with the top 5 in about 2 years.

We coud be having two top ten big men on our team in less than two years. And we could be having them for an average of less than 14/yr.

Of course, we could also be left with nothing if Bosh leaves and andrea never becomes a good defender

Look at the link, it says Centers. If it was Bigs's Bosh @ 25yrs old would be top 3-5 easily.

Let the truth prevail..when you are talking about offense and defense, Bargnani can hit the Top 12 young centers in the league, not overall centers, "young" centers. If you're talking about overall centers, maybe, just maybe, he hits top 20. Bosh hits top 3 young power forwards without any doubt. Also, there are more good power forward than centers in the league. That is the gap between Bosh and Bargnani. For those Bargnani lovers who say Andrea will catch up when he gets more experince and gets older, Bosh is one year older than Andrea.

I like some of those guys on the list a lot. Noah, Perkins, Speights... they're good, but i think Bargnani is better.

Now the problem is that they're all more traditional centres than Bargnani, but i think he's a better all round player who happens to play the same position.

I frankly have Lopez at number 2.

I have huge expectations for this guy, I like him to become the best center in the league eventually.

YouTube - Brook Lopez Rookie Highlight Reel
Agreed, he is everything you want in a 5. He rebounds, blocks shots, and unlike Bargs gets to the line often, and shoots a very high FT%. I would take a trade for Bargs without blinking.

Bargs better then Perkins, I don't think so. Just go back and watch how he handled Bosh. Not to mention he leads the league in FG%.
