convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

Hmmm ... does anyone really believe Chris when he says happiness outweighs money?

The Raptors will have the home-court advantage to guarantee him more money than any other team, but Bosh said feelings will outweigh finances.

"I think happiness is key," Bosh said. "Being comfortable. That has a lot to do with happiness."

In the meantime, I would suggest that Raptors fans just chill. Don't freak out about the slow start to the season and its potential impact on Bosh's decision down the road. Don't press Bosh to do something, anything to make it. He gets it.

You know what? I actually do. I'm not implying that this means he'll stay in Toronto but Bosh seems to be one of the more genuine guys out there in the league.

Lot's of other players could say it and it'd be pure bullshit to appease fans, but I really don't get that vibe from Chris.

Considering the NBA and NBAPA will renegotiate in a couple years and max contracts will likely go down, hopefully $ means more to some ppl :P

what's missing from that statement is that money makes everybody happy ... So chris is not about money, no nba player ever is. they all want to go where they're happy, which usually means going where the money is ...

Bosh is already rich. If he hates being in Toronto, no amount of money will make him stay.

Raptors can't compete money wise. It would be better for anybody to play in Florida, which has no state income tax, and pay the lower federal incomes taxes in the US than to live and p(l)ay in Canada.

that's what accountants are for bi glance. in fact, we can offer him more money than any other team, and we can find ways to keep it from the taxman.

Just as long as it is tax avoidance and not tax evasion. There are more things to do with your money in the US if you make the kind of mony Bosh makes.

He can spend it wherever he wants, but if he lives in the states he will get to keep more of his money to spend.
