ESPN: Raptors 2008-09 Stat Predictions

Interesting predictions ... not the numbers that I would of expected. They predict Jose, AP, Bargnani, Moon and Kapono's number to remain relatively the same as last season. Jermaine's numbers seem to be on the rise and it looks as though Bosh's stats are the same to down a little bit. Not what I would of predicted from our star player. Seems more like some regression than flourish as he enters his prime. You? :confused2:

ESPN doesn't show any raptors except for JO to have better numbers than last year. BS

Belsius 09-11-2008 08:48 PM

ITs amazing that ESPN said the only raptor to have better numbers this year will be jermaine.

Numbers will go up from last season:

JO
Kapono
Bargnani

Numbers will go down:

Bosh (From 22PPG to 20PPG w/rebounds staying around 8-9RPG)

Numbers will roughly be the same:

Jose
AP
Moon

I do think that Bosh's number (ppg) will go down a bit now that he has a legit second scorer with him down low sharing the load. It's not regressing at all it's team play.If Jo's numbers are to go up to let's say 18PPG/9RPG he needs touches.

25/12 JO!!!! Haha.

If we're going to go anywhere Jose's PPG has to climb to at least 14 since hes our #2 option and the guy orchestrating most of our scoring opportunities. We cant make up the scoring if hes still only averaging 11 ppg unless JO turns into the hulk and avgs 20 and 10.

I expect Jose to be at least 14 and 8, and to reach 16+9 this season. He has to or we're screwed.

first off.

as long as thier predictions are sound, and the OVERALL PPG go up....ie. 4 rapts cause the raps to lose 8 points a game, but Oneal ups 10, then wonderful.

as for Jose, I see him averaging double digits in scoring and assists.

easily.

To add to SJ, I can see Jose logging a few more than 32 minutes a game as well.

krillog 09-13-2008 11:13 PM

Well that was the most boring and conservative prediction ever.

Superjudge 09-14-2008 09:09 AM

I left out the part about the travsvestite hooker Scandal Hump was gonna be in Krill, sorry about that!
