Predictions for us are all over the map. Lol

I doubt we're worse then last considering that 4-19 start. Unless we have major injury issues I think we should be better...........37+ wins.

Before people go on about "Lawl BSPN gtfo", realize they're usually more accurate than we are.

Remember last year when every one thought we were basically guaranteed 8th seed, even before we got Rudy, and Hollinger rained on our parade with a similar prediction?

Btw, here's the list of 215 analysts who came up with this list.

i think their win percentage for the lower seed teams are kind of low. but the standings isn't crazy. i dont think theres a huge drop off from us and detroit. but the standings i can agree with.

Yup, the order is exactly how I'd have it except I might swap Brooklyn and Indiana but the win #s themselves are low. I don't know how they really can believe that the 6-8th seeds will be below .500

you said this sarcastically. but i think this is exactly what should happen. espn's prediction is not off the wall we are one of four teams competing for the last two spots in the playoffs.

just so we can get bounced by miami in a sweep? id rather tank.

Washington, cleveland, detroit, raps and esp milwauke seem very low! Atl in 6th with a sub .500 record!? Wow.

So they're heavily favouring the west? I get the logic to that but they've over-compensated imo.

Remember last year when they had Boston 2nd with 50 wins? And Philly 6th with 46 wins? And Milwaukee not making the playoffs? And NY 7th? That seems wildly accurate. There were plenty of people on there that thought Toronto could be a threat for 8th.

And everyone thought we were guaranteed a playoff seeding last year? Everyone? That wasn't my expectation, nor what I thought was the priority.

Here's an idea. Let's watch the games. Well, maybe you will want to pass on that idea. If I was so utterly convinced that this team sucked, I wouldn't bother.

There is a wide range this team could fall into. Personally, I think they have a leg up on teams like Washington and Cleveland and Detroit in terms of being able to come together as a team.

I don't even know why they even bother to play the season ... should just listen to ESPN.

I think the reason for the low win count is many writers bank on us tanking the second half.

I think there's very little chance of that. If we're not on pace to make the playoffs, we'll blow it up for sure. Only a major late season collapse would lead to that number of wins.

They're usually wrong with most of their predictions too.

Way to twist up my words. I have expressly stated this team doesn't suck. I don't see them becoming a contender barring some miracle but that's a story for another day. If I didn't intend to watch games I wouldn't be on this thread. Unlike you I will watch them through thick and thin. And before you go on about me being condescending, I simply fight fire with fire

And yeah, not like Boston's best player tore his ACL or anything, but ok. Milwaukee got into the playoffs by default, if that's what you want for this team, we're on completely different pages. That Philadelphia prediction definitely depended on Bynum's health, which was non-existent last year. These were significant injuries, unlike the ones that should be assummed will happen over the course of a season.

You think we have an advantage on them chemistry wise, I think they have an advantage talent wise.

2012-13 NBA predictions -- NBA champion - ESPN

What I see here is Miami with 26 out of the 35 votes, which just so happened to be correct.

Well they predicted OKC or LAL in the finals vs Miami. One didn't make the playoffs, the other was taken out in the second round. Most of them if not all of them never predicted SAS getting to the finals.
