ESPN: Jermaine O'Neal Greatest Negative Impact on New Team

Ugh ... let's hope it not true. :(

That's the equation that put Baron Davis and Jermaine O'Neal at the head of the pack for the player likely to have the greatest negative impact on his new team. Obviously, the Clippers and Raptors don't want to believe that, as they owe BD and JO a combined $109 million over the next few years.

Times is slow on the NBA media scene fella's, they don't mean anything by it, they are just trying to make deadlines. Once were up and rolling, these types of articles will be gone.

I wonder how can Baron have a negative impact on the clippers, since they sucked quite badly last season ... what's their prognosis, 10 wins for next season??? These "experts" are nothing but usually. Since when does JO have a reputation for ruining chemistry??? I never heard anything bad about him in all his time in Indiana - and despite playing for a sucky team last season, he tried his best, until it was obvious they were going nowhere. If that's "chemistry killer", how do you call vince carter or kobe bryant?

And another things that makes me question these people sanity is that TMac gets MVP votes, despite missing more games than JO during the past few seasons (suspensions notwhistanding), while JO is going to be our worst nightmare because of his injuries ...

I have to agree with this because who really gives a damn if Donyell Marshall signed with the Sixers. People would rather read this

Tommy2Tymes 09-02-2008 07:52 PM

i guess they forgot that we had TJ on our team last season

The guy who wrote this is going to be wrong so I don't really care.

I've read that BS yesterday, thought about posting a link here and decided against it. ;)
