This time around, with Bargs also out the starters are:

Calderon
Derozan
Pietrus
Davis
Valanciunas

^^ This lineup is winning games. Pietrus is slightly better than Kleiza but the main difference imo other than Jose's play right now is Ed Davis playing 30mpg. He's been a huge difference, especially on D. Our interior defense is now far better.
Kleiza is playing much better as an undersized 4 off the bench. So I think their are actually two upgrades in the frontcourt with Bargs out.

1. Davis has been an upgrade over Bargs starting
2. Kleiza has been an upgrade over Davis in the 4 spot off the bench.

if only, if only we could have 13 games Bargs back

question for all of you, if Bargs comes back with a chip on his shoulder and starts playing like 13 games Bargs again, and we start killing, destroying teams, would you keep starting davis?

As it shows in todays game, Ed Davis was our anchor on the boards and he defensive end tonight. He's definitely makes a huge difference with his arms compraed to Bargnani even though he is a 7 footer. Bargnani rarely goes for the help and just stands there and watch unlike Ed

One thing that's always pissed me off about Bargnani is that he rarely if ever follows his own shot. If he took a three and took a couple steps in he'd probably get a couple extra rebounds per game. Getting back on defense is important obviously but once in a while follow your own shot and get involved for shit sakes.

Problem is once he gets beat, he doesnt give a crap and expects his teammates to be there for the help D. He gets the ball and he just shoots it. We've had 6 years to see what Bargnani can become, and he's not going to chance if we continue to give him his beloved 40mins/game and not get called out. As of right now well just need to let Ed Davis do his thing before hes back onto the bench. Same thing happened last year when Bargnani was out, he played well as a starter after everyone was doubting him because he was scoring high %s on 2nd units (same thing happened again this year).

Oh thats right I believe he had a hand injury of some sort, and BC picked the BPA which turned out to be Ed Davis. He was projected to be a top 10 pick as well

Although it should not surprise you, quite a bit Raptors fans(on here) were upset went Toronto took Ed Davis.

A lot of people on here wanted Bradley I believe.

Good drafting by BC !

I was fairly happy with the Ed Davis pick, but I rmb everybody wanting Bledsoe or Bradley because we really needed a PG badly during that time rather than a big man due to our logjam as we have now. But BC just went with BPA and it was Ed Davis

I wasn't one of those people so I couldn't care less. I was excited. The raps had just nabbed a guy who had gone to a great school and was pegged as a top 10 pick but had been injured.

Ed Davis was projected to be top 3 or top 5 before his hand injury.

Lol It was Jarrett Jack and Jose Calderon vs. Amir and Reggie Evans. Bargnani was our center for some reason. I think BC made the right move lol We had an extra spot because of CB4 having left..

It really comes up to the question whether you want a player to be shit for you or a dominate on another team.... A question which i can see transverse to many or our players

he's definitely putting it together.

I have never been the biggest Ed Davis backer, but i can see what he's all about now. especially that he's starting to look like an 'experienced' guy out there.

Also, that block on Maxiel was massive. Maxiel dunks hard too. Highlite of the game for me.

We need to have Ed Davis as a starting PF and let Barg back him up.
Ed Davis' playing time should not drop, but it will be ideal if Barg plays ahead of Kleiza.
Bargnani is a perfect fit for a sixth man player, where he leads the scoring from Bench.

In terms of PG, I'm okay with both Lowry and Calderon... but let Lowry start, as his defense is better than Calderon
